About this opportunity
Commercial Litigation Attorney | Greater Philadelphia, PA (Conshohocken) | 4 to 10 yrs | $130,000 to $210,000 | Commercial Litigation
Sophisticated business disputes without the daily trip into Center City. For a commercial litigator living in the suburbs, this Conshohocken role offers city quality work much closer to home.
Many of the region’s most interesting business disputes involve the private companies, family businesses and owners based along the Main Line and in Montgomery County. This firm represents them in contract, ownership and competition disputes, and it gives its litigators real ownership of cases and clients.
The work
- Contract, partnership and shareholder disputes
- Business torts, restrictive covenants and unfair competition claims
- Matters in the Montgomery County, Philadelphia Commerce Court and federal courts
- Depositions, dispositive motions and injunction hearings
- Strategy and risk advice directly to business owners and executives
What I’m looking for
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar; New Jersey admission a plus
- 4 to 10 years of commercial or complex civil litigation experience
- Strong writing and confidence working directly with clients
How the team works
Cases are run by small teams, so you’re close to the partners and the clients from day one. You’ll take depositions and argue motions, with experienced trial lawyers on hand when you want a second view.
How the role scales
Mid level attorneys run cases day to day and build their courtroom experience. Senior litigators lead matters through trial and arbitration and become the first call for business clients. The salary range is broad so that experience is properly paid.
Why business owners make this work special
When an owner’s company is in a dispute, it feels personal. Litigators who give clear, commercial advice and see them through it earn loyalty that lasts for years, and that makes this one of the best practices for building a book.
Pace and flexibility
The office runs hybrid, and the firm is flexible about how you organize your week. The office is easy to reach from the Main Line, Montgomery County and Chester County.
Why move
Serious commercial cases, close client relationships and a much shorter commute.
