Who operates this service
Jobbol provides this public portal for U.S. job discovery. Use our contact form for privacy questions or requests.
Information we process
- Account information: name, email address, protected password hash, account creation and sign-in dates.
- Preferences you choose: city, display theme, and privacy choice.
- Messages you send, including the email needed for a response.
- Limited service statistics: page paths, job views, approximate active time, account creation/sign-in events, and application-page visits.
For daily visit estimates, the application temporarily processes the connection IP address and a broad browser family to create a keyed identifier that changes each UTC day. The statistics tables do not store the raw IP address or full browser user-agent. This identifier is pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity, and is not used to recognize someone across days. Shared networks can combine visitors; changing networks can count one visitor more than once.
Hosting providers may maintain separate security or access logs under their own retention settings. If you choose browser geolocation, coordinates are sent to find a nearby city and are not saved by this application; only your selected city is saved as a preference.
Purposes and choices
We use these data to operate accounts, provide search, remember choices, respond to requests, prevent misuse, and understand service performance. We do not sell personal information or use cross-context behavioral advertising in this portal. Optional navigation statistics respect Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track, and the “Limit analytics” choice. Essential security and aggregate 404 logs may still be processed.
Sharing and international processing
Hosting and infrastructure providers may process data to operate the service. Information may be processed outside your state or country, including Brazil. This release does not send applications to employers and does not send visitor browsing data to OpenAI. If you choose an external translation link, you leave Jobbol and the translation provider’s policies apply.
Retention and rights
Navigation records are retained for the period configured by the operator, initially 30 days, and removed in scheduled batches. Account data are kept while needed to operate the account or meet applicable obligations. Contact requests are kept for follow-up; resolved requests are removed after 90 days by scheduled cleanup.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, opt out of certain uses, or appeal a decision. Submit a request through our privacy choices or contact page. We may verify identity before disclosing or changing account data. We do not require unnecessary sensitive documents through this form.
Children and security
The service is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank details, medical records, or identity documents through the contact form. We use access controls, protected passwords, and encrypted HTTPS connections, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
Candidate accounts, resumes, and applications
We store the account information, professional profile, resumes, saved jobs, applications, and job-alert preferences you provide. Resumes are stored privately. When you confirm an application, we share the selected resume, your name, optional phone, and application message with the contact listed for that opportunity. Each application keeps a reference to the resume version you selected.
Employer links are private, expire, and may be revoked. Employers can send application updates through Jobbol without seeing your account email address on the employer page. Your resume itself may contain contact details you choose to include.
Application activity and email signals
Application emails sent to employers may include a small image that records an email-opening signal. Privacy features and automated software may load images or request downloads. These signals do not prove that a person read or reviewed your resume. Explicit employer actions are recorded separately and shown in your account.
Optional job alerts and account closure
Job alerts require your choice to subscribe. You can unsubscribe through an alert email or delete alerts in your account. Account-security and application-update emails are separate from optional job alerts. Closing your account deletes your hosted resumes and profile, removes alerts and saved jobs, revokes employer links, and anonymizes retained application records. We cannot recall copies already received or downloaded by an employer. Use Privacy choices to contact us about your data.
Employer accounts and recruiting
We use representative contact information, business profile details, email verification records, job submissions, and review history to operate employer accounts, evaluate posting requests, prevent abuse, and support legitimate recruitment. The approved company description and job details are public. Account credentials, verification tokens, and review notes are not public profile fields.
Applications are shared only through the application process with the relevant authorized employer. Employers may download the submitted resume and send recruiting status messages. These actions can be recorded and displayed to the candidate. An employer must protect downloaded information and use it for recruitment. Account security, review, application, and delivery records are retained for operation, fraud prevention, and applicable legal requirements. Contact us to request access, correction, or account closure, subject to applicable exceptions. Optional marketing alerts remain separate from service and security notifications.
