About this opportunity
Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney | Philadelphia, PA | 2 to 8 yrs | $110,000 to $200,000 | Labor & Employment
Work across litigation and advice, so you’re never siloed. For an employment lawyer, doing both makes you more valuable to clients and keeps every week different.
This Philadelphia firm defends employers in court and helps them avoid court in the first place.
The work
- Defense of discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims
- Wage and hour and restrictive covenant litigation
- Injunction hearings, depositions and motion practice
- EEOC and PHRC proceedings
- Advice to employers on policies and investigations
What I’m looking for
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
- 2 to 8 years of employment or civil litigation
- Strong writing and client skills
How the mentoring works
Partners bring you into both the litigation and advisory sides early, so you learn how a lawsuit starts as well as how to defend it.
How the role scales
Earlier career attorneys build both skill sets. More experienced lawyers run cases and become trusted advisers to HR teams and in house counsel. The salary range is broad so that experience is properly paid.
Why the advisory side matters
Clients who get good advice before a dispute come back when one arrives. That makes employment lawyers some of the best placed to build a book.
Pace and flexibility
The office runs hybrid, and the firm is flexible about how you organize your week.
Why move
A balanced practice, direct client relationships and variety every week.
