About this opportunity
Insurance Defense Attorney (Senior) | Philadelphia, PA | 6 to 12 yrs | $150,000 to $215,000 | General Liability Defense
A full defense docket, direct carrier relationships and a marketing team that actually helps you build a book. For a senior defense attorney thinking about partnership, that support makes all the difference.
Plenty of firms say they back business development. This one has a proven team that helps senior litigators turn their trial reputation into clients of their own.
The work
- Running a full general liability and casualty defense docket
- First chair trials, arbitrations and mediations
- Expert depositions and dispositive motions
- Direct relationships with carriers, claims leaders and corporate clients
- Mentoring junior attorneys on your cases
What I’m looking for
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
- 6 to 12 years of insurance defense litigation
- Trial experience and strong client communication
How the business development support works
The marketing team helps you raise your profile through articles, speaking, carrier panels and client events. They help you turn relationships into instructions while you focus on winning cases.
How the role scales
Senior attorneys at the lower end of the range lead cases and build carrier trust. Those with established relationships take on larger accounts and move toward partnership. The salary range rewards that.
Why carrier relationships matter
Claims professionals send work to the lawyers they trust to call a case accurately. Building that trust is what gives a defense lawyer a portable book.
Pace and flexibility
The office runs hybrid, and senior attorneys have real control over how they structure their week.
Why move
Serious trial work, direct client access and real help building your own practice.
