How can we help?

Clear answers for your next step, whether you are looking for work or hiring.

Employer accounts

How do I create an employer account?

Start at Create an employer account. Enter your name and an email address you control, then verify the numeric code. Continue with a secure password and the required account details before completing the company profile.

A candidate account does not provide employer access. Register as an authorized representative of the organization you intend to recruit for. Email verification confirms access to the address; it does not approve the company, establish ownership of a company record, or publish a job.

What if my employer verification code or link does not work?

Check the address entered and look in spam or filtered folders. Use the latest message and keep the registration flow in the browser where you started. If a code or link expired, request a fresh one from the relevant account screen.

Do not share codes, password-reset links, or application-access links. A company-review decision and an email-verification message serve different purposes. If the issue continues, send support the account email and a description of the failed step, without forwarding secret tokens.

How do I recover or change my employer password?

Use Employer password recovery when you cannot sign in. Follow the verification instructions sent to the employer account email and choose a new password. Candidate password recovery does not reset an employer account.

When signed in, the security section in Settings lets you change the password using the current one. Use a unique passphrase and do not share one login across a recruiting team; use reviewed team access instead.

Are employer accounts and job postings free?

Creating an employer account is free. Each verified organization can publish its first job for up to 30 days, without a card or automatic subscription. Company and job reviews are required. A draft or rejected submission does not consume this offer; publication does. Closing early does not reset it.

Starter, Growth and Scale provide different posting and team capacities. Paid subscriptions are not open until the verified checkout is available in Plan & billing. Promotion is separate. Existing applications are not locked behind a new payment.

Link to this answer
How does the first free job posting work?

The offer belongs to the verified organization, not each login or branch. It covers one genuine job for up to 30 days, with one owner, applications and essential recruiting tools. No card is required and no paid subscription starts automatically.

The credit is consumed only when the job is actually published. Drafts, review, rejection and failed publication do not consume it. Closing early does not provide a new credit. Reopening the same job still requires review and cannot extend its original free deadline. If a Jobbol failure affected publication, request a review; any compensating credit is documented.

What do Starter, Growth and Scale include?

Initial capacities are Starter: three active jobs and two users; Growth: ten active jobs and five users; Scale: 25 active jobs and 15 users. Capacity applies to the verified organization. Closing a paid-plan job makes room for another genuine opportunity, subject to review. Drafts do not use active-job slots.

All include the available core recruiting tools. Do not assume unlisted ATS integrations, SMS, automated screening, guaranteed candidates or external advertising are included. Paid checkout remains unavailable until its commercial and payment setup is verified. View current availability. Prices, recurring terms and applicable taxes must be shown before any purchase.

Link to this answer
How can I manage billing or request a refund review?

When a paid subscription is available and active, the owner uses Plan & billing to open the secure billing portal, consult invoices, update the payment method or cancel renewal. The first free posting never creates a subscription. A checkout return page alone does not confirm payment.

For a disputed charge, service interruption, rejected posting or refund request, open a billing ticket with the invoice reference and facts. Do not send card numbers. Jobbol reviews the service delivered, cause and applicable rights; a lack of hires is not itself a guaranteed service failure. Subscription changes and any proportional charges require an explicitly available and confirmed flow; do not assume a support request changed your plan.

Company identity and review

What information should I put in the company profile?

Open Company profile and provide the organization’s legal and public names, website, industry, institutional description, primary location, and the appropriate recruiting contact details. The form identifies required information and offers optional public details where supported.

Use accurate, plain-English descriptions. Do not include confidential personnel records or unnecessary identity documents. Address-publication choices control public address details where offered; an account contact is not automatically a public contact. Check the preview and submit the profile for review when the required fields are complete.

My company is already listed. Can I select it and start posting?

The company autocomplete helps locate an existing public identity and avoid duplicate records. Select the correct organization using its name and distinguishing details, then request association through the profile flow.

Selecting a suggestion does not give you control of that company. The association remains subject to review and suitable evidence of authority. Be careful with similarly named businesses, branches, brands, and parent groups. If the match is uncertain, explain it to support instead of claiming another organization’s page.

How does Jobbol check my connection to a company?

Jobbol reviews the company profile and association request separately from account-email verification. A corporate email domain and consistent public business information can support the review, but a matching name alone is not proof of authority.

If your business uses a general email provider, give accurate website, contact, and business information and explain your role. The review team may request clarification through the available support or review channels. Do not upload unnecessary identity documents or assume that a company-domain address guarantees approval.

Can I update an approved company’s name, logo, or description?

You can propose appropriate profile changes through Company profile. Proposed changes are reviewed before they replace the shared public company information. Selecting or editing a name does not authorize a merge with another company.

Reliable existing information is protected through review and change history. A pending profile request can temporarily prevent new job creation or submission until it is resolved. Changes approved for the public company identity then feed the relevant company and job displays; earlier application records can retain historical details.

How should I prepare my company logo and description?

Upload a logo that you are authorized to use and that clearly represents the correct organization. Use the file types and size limits shown by the upload control. The service validates the file and prepares a normalized image; a successful upload is not the same as approval for public replacement.

Write a short, factual company description in clear English. Avoid promotional spam, unsupported claims, private information, and instructions for bypassing the application flow. Where no approved company logo is available, the portal uses its default image.

What does each company-review status mean?

A draft is still being prepared. A submitted or under-review profile is waiting for a decision. Changes requested means the reviewer needs corrections; a rejected or suspended profile cannot be used to publish jobs. Read the reason shown in your workspace before acting.

An approved company must also have the required approved association and application destination to use posting tools. Company approval does not approve any job automatically. Each job is submitted and reviewed separately. Check your workspace for the current next step.

Link to this answer
How long does company or job review take?

Review time depends on the information provided, verification needs and current workload. We do not promise a universal 24-hour decision. Your workspace shows the current status and any requested changes; important decisions also generate email notices.

You can prepare job drafts while company review is pending. Publication requires company approval and a separate job review. If you need help, open a support ticket with the relevant reference.

Link to this answer
What should I do if my profile is rejected or needs corrections?

Read the review reason in your employer workspace. If corrections are requested and editing is available, update the relevant details and submit the profile again. Make the correction specific—for example, clarify the website, business identity, or representative’s connection to the company.

If the profile is rejected or restricted and you cannot edit it, use Contact us to ask about the decision. Creating another account does not bypass a restriction. Approval is based on the reviewed information, not on repeated submissions.

How is the application email different from my sign-in email?

Your sign-in email identifies your employer user. The application email is the verified destination used for recruiting notices and private application access. The owner manages it in Settings.

If you choose the same address as your already verified sign-in email, Jobbol can reuse that proof and avoid another verification. A different address must be verified. Changing the destination does not transfer historic applications to another organization or rewrite previously approved jobs; review each affected job before resubmitting.

Creating and managing jobs

How do I create and submit a job?

Open Jobs → Create a job. Describe one genuine opportunity, select its location and categories, and enter accurate work arrangements, pay and requirements. Save a draft and review the saved preview.

You may draft before company approval. To submit for publication, your company and application email must be approved, required details must be complete, and you must confirm your authority and applicable disclosures. Jobbol reviews the job individually. A submission or email receipt is not proof that it is live.

Link to this answer
Which job details are required for review?

Provide a meaningful job title, at least one relevant professional category, a verified U.S. city and sufficient description, duties and requirements. A standard occupation suggestion is not mandatory. Record the real work arrangement and employment type; remote jobs must define eligible applicant locations.

Use real compensation and the applicable pay period. The employer must provide salary ranges, benefits and other disclosures required by the relevant jurisdictions, including remote-work rules. A checkbox does not certify legal compliance. Never request payment from candidates or include unnecessary sensitive-data requests. Read pay guidance.

Link to this answer
How should I enter salary and compensation information?

Enter real positive amounts in U.S. dollars, choose the pay period, and make sure the maximum is not below the minimum. Explain relevant benefits or compensation conditions in the appropriate job fields.

The form can technically accept a blank salary field, but that does not determine whether omission is lawful. Employers are responsible for the pay range, benefits, and other disclosures required where a job is advertised or may be performed. Review the applicable state and local requirements before submitting. Do not invent a range to pass review.

Link to this answer
How do I describe a remote or hybrid job accurately?

Choose the appropriate work arrangement. For a remote posting, identify whether applicants may work throughout the United States or only in specified U.S. states, using the form’s supported options. State any schedule, travel, equipment, or on-site requirements clearly in the description.

For hybrid work, select the real job city and explain the expected on-site component. Do not describe a geographically restricted position as “work from anywhere.” The current posting form supports its listed U.S. location scopes; contact support when the actual requirements do not fit them.

Link to this answer
How do job titles and categories work?

Write the title candidates should see, in clear American English. Suggestions can help, but you do not have to replace a legitimate title with an unrelated standard occupation. Choose at least one professional category and no more than eight relevant categories. Categories help discovery; adding unrelated ones does not improve the quality of a posting.

Link to this answer
Can I prepare a job while my company is being reviewed?

Yes. An employer account can save a private draft before company approval. Complete the information gradually and return through Jobs. Repeated submission of the same new-draft form does not create extra jobs.

Drafts are not public, do not receive applications and do not consume the first free posting. Publishing and accessing candidate information still require the appropriate company authorization. Suspended or rejected accounts must resolve their restrictions with support.

Link to this answer
How do I know whether a job is actually live?

Open the job in Jobs and check the publication message and live-job link. A draft, pending review or requested correction is a workflow state, not a guarantee of public visibility. During a safe text revision, an earlier approved version may still be live and is identified separately.

Closed, paused, expired or restricted listings stop receiving new applications. Review and billing states are separate: paying never approves a company or job.

Link to this answer
What happens when I edit a published job?

Jobbol keeps the approved public version separate from your proposed changes. If you only improve descriptive text and confirm that the current public information remains accurate, the approved version can stay live during review, until its original closing date.

Changes to title, pay, location, work conditions, categories or application destination pause the public listing for review. If the old text has become misleading, do not confirm that it is still accurate. The workspace tells you whether an approved version remains live. Editing does not reset the original posting date or a free posting’s deadline.

Link to this answer
How do I respond to changes requested or a rejected job?

Open the job detail and read the review reason. When the status permits correction, edit the requested details, save, and resubmit. Check the job’s identity, location, requirements, and pay disclosures rather than just changing a few words.

A rejected or restricted submission may require support before editing becomes available. Use Contact us with the submission link and your question. Duplicating a rejected posting or using another company account is not a way to bypass review.

Link to this answer
How do I close a job without losing the applications?

Open the job in Jobs, use Close job and confirm. The public listing stops accepting new applications. Existing application history remains available under the retention policy so you can finish the selection process.

Applicants still in process receive a separate notice that the listing has closed. This is not an individual rejection or a hiring decision and does not change their stage. Record individual decisions accurately in Candidates. Closing a free posting does not restart its original free period.

Link to this answer
Can I reopen a closed or expired job?

Open the saved job, check that the opportunity is still genuine, update expired details and submit it for a new review. Publication must meet your organization’s current capacity and eligibility. The original posting date is preserved rather than reset to simulate a new opportunity.

The first free posting is tied to its original job and 30-day maximum period. Closing it does not create another free credit, and reopening does not extend its original free deadline. Received applications remain in Candidates under the applicable retention rules.

Link to this answer
How long does a job stay available?

An approved posting runs for up to 30 days, or a supported earlier closing date. It may close sooner if the opportunity ends, requires a material correction or loses eligibility. Safe text edits keep the original closing date. The first free job cannot exceed its original 30-day period through reopening.

The saved workspace state is checked against actual public availability. Search-engine copies are not proof of availability. Once closed or expired, no new applications are accepted; existing candidate records remain available under applicable retention rules.

Link to this answer
Can I hide my company’s identity in a new employer posting?

The current self-service job form does not offer a confidentiality switch. Do not replace your company with a false name or select another organization to conceal the advertiser.

If you have a legitimate confidential-recruitment requirement, contact Jobbol before submitting and explain what information must remain private. Company and job records with existing confidentiality rules must keep those protections. A public company directory entry does not authorize disclosure of private recruiting or account information.

Applications and candidate information

Where do I manage applications for my jobs?

Use Candidates for applications received through Jobbol for your authorized account’s direct jobs. Search by name, job or reference, and filter by job, stage, not viewed, shortlist, assignee or tag. A stage view groups the current page; results remain paginated.

Each record shows the submitted resume, candidate message, shared stage history and private team organization. Your filters and page are preserved when moving between records. A company catalogue listing alone does not give access to applications from imported or partner jobs. An external Apply click is not a completed application.

Link to this answer
How are candidate resumes delivered and downloaded?

The application notification provides a protected link rather than a public directory of candidate files. Authorized access lets you view the application details and confirm a resume download. The record identifies the resume version selected for that submission.

Downloads can be recorded and shown to the candidate. Keep downloaded copies secure and use them only for the relevant legitimate recruiting purpose. Protected links can expire or be revoked after withdrawal or account changes; forwarding a link to an unauthorized person is not an approved way to add a recruiter.

Link to this answer
Can I correct a hiring stage or schedule another interview?

Yes. Open the application, choose the stage, review your message and confirm the update. Templates are editable suggestions, not automatic decisions. You can record more than one interview. Returning to an earlier stage or correcting a final decision requires an explanation visible to the candidate. Earlier events remain in the history.

You may include a proposed interview date, time zone, duration and location or meeting link. The candidate and employer can download a calendar file. This is a proposal, not a confirmation of availability; calendar files do not synchronize later changes. Candidate messages are added to their application history and queued for email. Replies to the employer’s contact email are handled by that employer, not automatically imported into the application timeline.

Link to this answer
Does a published job guarantee applications or hires?

No. Publication makes an eligible listing available on the portal, but candidates decide whether to apply and employers make hiring decisions. Job views and apply-click activity are different from completed, recorded applications.

Review the accuracy and clarity of the title, location, pay, qualifications, and responsibilities. Avoid misleading promises or unnecessary barriers. If the job is not publicly available when you expect it to be, check its review status and closing date before treating low activity as a technical problem.

Link to this answer
What are my responsibilities when handling candidate information?

Access candidate information only when you are authorized to recruit for the relevant organization. Use it for the legitimate recruiting purpose, limit access, protect downloaded copies, and follow applicable privacy and employment requirements.

Do not sell resumes, reuse application contacts for unrelated marketing, or publish protected links. Candidate withdrawal can revoke Jobbol-hosted access but cannot delete your downloaded copies. Handle requests about your own records through your organization’s appropriate process. See Employer terms and Privacy policy.

Who can see notes, tags, shortlists and reminders?

These tools are private to authorized members of the same employer account. They organize a specific application, not a shared public profile of the person. Saving them does not change the candidate’s stage or send an email. A reminder appears in the workspace overview; it is not an automatic interview booking.

Use factual, job-related notes and labels. Do not record sensitive characteristics or use protected traits for selection. Stage updates and messages in the shared history are visible to the candidate. Review candidate-data responsibilities.

Team access and account help

Can several recruiters work with the same company?

The owner can request recruiter access in Team, within the verified organization’s team capacity. The recruiter needs a verified employer account, must accept the invitation and must pass the existing access review. An unaccepted invitation expires after seven days; the owner can revoke a pending request.

Owners manage company details and billing. Recruiters work with authorized jobs and applications; access does not grant ownership or billing permissions. Existing memberships are not silently removed when a new limit is introduced. Ask support to review transition cases.

Link to this answer
How do I switch between companies I am authorized to manage?

Open Team & workspaces and select an available company workspace. The list is based on active approved memberships, not on every company in the public directory.

Before editing a job or reviewing applications, confirm that the correct workspace is selected. Access to one branch, brand, or company does not automatically authorize access to others. If the organization is missing, resolve the association or membership request rather than selecting a similar public name.

Link to this answer
How do I remove a recruiter’s company access?

An authorized owner can manage recruiter membership in Team & workspaces. Remove access when the person no longer recruits for the organization, and check whether other operational credentials also need to be changed.

Removing membership does not delete the canonical public company or its historical job records. It also cannot recall files the recruiter already downloaded. Ownership changes or disputes should be raised with Jobbol support rather than attempted through a normal recruiter invitation.

Link to this answer
How do I request closure of an employer account?

Contact Jobbol through Contact us using an address connected with the employer account. Explain whether you want to close the login, end a company association, or stop all current recruiting. The current employer settings do not provide an immediate self-service closure button.

Close active jobs promptly if you no longer want applications. Support may need to verify authority and consider other authorized members and required records. Account closure should not erase a shared company identity or unrelated historical listings automatically.

Link to this answer
How do I contact support and follow my request?

Open Support in your employer workspace. Choose the topic, describe what happened and include the job or application reference when relevant. Your ticket stays linked to your employer user, with status, replies and history. You can reply and close the ticket there.

Use the same employer session when submitting the contact form to link the request to your account. Guest requests use the private conversation link sent by email. For security, matching email addresses alone do not attach guest tickets to an account. Never send passwords, full card details, Social Security numbers or unrelated candidate records.

Link to this answer
How do ticket replies, status and email alerts work?

Your ticket list shows requests for your signed-in employer user. Open a ticket to read the conversation, add a reply or close it when finished. Closing preserves the history and stops further replies; open a new ticket for a new issue. Closing a support conversation does not automatically cancel an independent privacy-rights request.

Jobbol records each reply before queuing its email notice. An email delay does not erase the saved response. Reply on the ticket so the conversation stays together. Replies sent directly by email are reviewed separately and are not automatically added to the ticket.

How do I propose a traffic or distribution partnership?

Use Partnerships. “Buy traffic from Jobbol” means you want Jobbol to send visitors to your approved destination. “Send traffic to Jobbol” means you offer an audience and Jobbol would evaluate buying traffic. Distribution or integration proposals have their own option.

Describe your company, markets, audience origin, channels, estimated volume and integration. The request receives a support reference and enters the existing business review process. It does not approve a contract, rate, volume, feed or access. We do not sell candidate personal data through traffic partnerships.
