How can we help?
Clear answers for your next step, whether you are looking for work or hiring.
Getting started
What does Jobbol do—and who makes hiring decisions?
Jobbol helps you discover U.S. job opportunities, compare job details, and organize your applications. Search by role and location, save openings that interest you, and use a candidate account when you are ready to apply.
The employer decides whom to interview and hire. Jobbol does not employ you on behalf of a company, promise an interview, or guarantee that an opening will remain available. Read About Jobbol and check the full description before sharing your information.
Is Jobbol free for job seekers?
Searching for jobs, creating a candidate account, uploading resumes, saving jobs, and using the application tools are free. You do not need to buy access to an employer or pay Jobbol to send an application.
A person asking you to pay to secure a job is a warning sign. Do not send money, gift cards, or cryptocurrency in response to a recruitment promise. Use Contact us to report suspicious activity and read the job search safety guide.
Why can a company appear without having a Jobbol employer account?
The portal includes opportunities obtained from external job listings as well as jobs submitted through reviewed employer accounts. A company name or public company page does not, by itself, mean that the organization has claimed that page or has a direct relationship with Jobbol.
Job information is organized and checked before publication, but those checks are not a background check or a guarantee about an employer. If details appear inaccurate, send the job link through Contact us.
Can I change the language or display theme?
Use the header language selector to choose EN (English), ES (Español), or PT (Português). English is the default. Your preference follows your navigation. The theme button switches between light and dark display.
Available interface and help text is translated. Job titles, original job descriptions, and employer-provided information stay in their original language. Emails remain in English. When an up-to-date editorial translation is unavailable, the original English content is identified.
Finding the right jobs
What should I enter in the What and Where search fields?
Enter a job title or a useful keyword in the role field. In the location field, start with a city, state, ZIP code, or another supported location term, then choose the matching suggestion. Choosing the suggestion identifies the location more reliably than leaving unselected text.
For example, search for “cashier” and select “Denver, CO.” You can start broadly and then narrow the results with categories, work arrangement, employment type, posting date, pay information, and distance. Open Find jobs to begin.
Why do I see related roles or nearby cities in my results?
Relevance searches prioritize the requested role in the selected city, then nearby matches within the chosen radius. Related professional categories in the city and nearby area follow; remote opportunities can also appear. Result groups explain when the search broadens beyond the closest match.
The Date and Relevance controls change how results are ordered. A related suggestion is not a claim that the role is identical to your original search. Check each title, location, and description, or tighten the filters when you need a narrower list.
How does the distance filter work?
Choose a city before using the radius control. The radius is measured in miles; the standard search radius is 15.5 miles. When a nearby result has a calculated distance, it appears next to the location on the job card.
These distances are approximate geographic distances between location coordinates. They are not driving times, public-transit routes, or a precise measurement from your home. The exact worksite may differ from the city reference point. Confirm the address and commute with the employer.
How do I choose or change my preferred city?
Select the location control in the header and choose a city from the suggestions. Save it to make location-based browsing more convenient. You can return to that control at any time to select a different city or clear the preference.
“Use my location” asks your browser for permission and suggests a nearby U.S. city. You can use the portal without granting that permission by choosing the city yourself. A preferred city is a browsing preference, not a statement about where you are authorized to work.
What if my city is missing or the suggestions show a different place?
Add the state or ZIP code to distinguish places with similar names. Location suggestions come from the portal’s city directory; more populous matches are prioritized where the search supports that ordering. Select the city and state together rather than relying on the name alone.
If the correct city is unavailable, try a nearby city or a state-level search, and tell support the missing location. Do not select a different state just to make the form continue.
Does “remote” mean I can work from any state or country?
No. A remote job may still require residence in particular U.S. states, U.S. work authorization, specific working hours, or occasional travel. Hybrid jobs also involve some on-site work.
Read the work-location section and any applicant-location restrictions in the full description. A remote filter, a preferred city, or a category such as international applicants does not override those requirements. If the description is unclear, ask the employer before applying. Jobbol does not determine visa eligibility or provide immigration sponsorship.
Which job title does Jobbol display?
Jobbol displays the original title provided in the job listing on cards and on the full job page. The title is not replaced with a standardized occupation name.
The job-title directory connects advertised titles with their relevant categories so you can explore related jobs. Check the responsibilities and qualifications in each listing to decide whether it fits.
Why is salary missing from some jobs?
Jobbol shows pay information when the listing provides usable amounts, a currency, and a pay period. A missing salary is not an estimate, a minimum-pay promise, or an indication that the job is unpaid.
A pay filter can exclude listings without the information needed to match that filter. Read the description for additional compensation details and ask the employer about pay, benefits, and any required disclosures before accepting an offer. Report misleading or inconsistent compensation information through Contact us.
How do I see more jobs or use Quick view?
On job-list pages, more results load automatically as you approach the bottom of the list. Keep the connection active while the loading indicator is shown. When the list is exhausted, the end-of-results message appears.
Quick view opens a brief description in a dialog. Its action takes you to the full job page; opening the dialog does not apply. Related opportunities on a job-description page are limited to a small group, with a link to continue browsing more jobs.
Why did a job disappear or stop accepting applications?
An opportunity may expire, be closed by its employer or Jobbol, or be held for a correction or review. Published listings have a limited availability period; the employer may also fill a role before that period ends.
A saved link does not keep the vacancy open. If you already applied, check My applications for your recorded submission and any employer updates. A closed listing is not automatically a rejection of your application.
Your account and sign-in
How do I create a candidate account?
Open Create your free account, enter the name you would like us to use and an email address you control, and request the verification code. Enter that code in the same browser to continue to your name and password details.
Accept the candidate terms and complete your professional profile. You can browse before registering, but you need a verified, completed profile and an available resume for the application form. Do not use an employer account as a substitute for a candidate account.
My verification code did not arrive or was rejected. What should I do?
Check the email address you entered, then look in spam, junk, and filtered folders. Candidate verification codes expire after 10 minutes and have a limited number of attempts. Keep the registration or reset flow in the same browser because the code is linked to that session.
If the code expired or too many attempts were made, request a new one and use the most recent message. Do not share a code with a recruiter or with support. If delivery continues to fail, contact us with the affected email address and approximate time, without sending the code.
How do I reset a forgotten candidate password?
Choose Forgot your password? on the candidate sign-in page. Enter your account email, verify the code sent to that address, and choose a new password of 12–72 characters. Use a unique passphrase that you do not use on other services.
A generic delivery message helps protect account privacy; it does not confirm that any particular address has an account. If you are trying to access an employer account, use the separate employer password-recovery page instead.
Are candidate and employer accounts the same?
No. Candidate accounts organize your profile, resumes, saved jobs, alerts, and applications. Employer accounts manage company profiles, job postings, and recruiting. The sign-in sessions are separate, even when the same person uses both services.
Use Candidate sign in for your job search and Employer sign in for recruiting. The Sign out control closes the account shown in that area; if you also signed into the other account, sign out there separately on a shared device.
How do I change my email address or password?
Open My account. To change your email, enter the new address and confirm your current password, then verify the new address with the code sent to it. Use an address that you can continue to access.
The password-change form also asks for your current password. After a password change, sign in again with the new password. If you no longer know the current password, use the recovery flow first rather than repeatedly trying the settings form.
Profile and resumes
What information belongs in My profile?
Use My profile to maintain your name, selected city, professional headline, summary, roles of interest, and relevant career categories. A phone number can help an employer contact you when you choose to share it through an application.
Keep the profile factual and consistent with your resume. You do not need to add bank details, a Social Security number, identity documents, or medical records. Completing a profile improves the information available for your applications; it does not automatically send it to every employer.
What resume files can I upload?
Upload a standard PDF of up to 5 MB in My profile → Your resumes. Give the file a useful label, such as “Office administration” or “Customer service,” so you can choose it easily later.
The upload checks the actual file type and rejects certain embedded scripts, attachments, and automatic actions. If a PDF is rejected, export a fresh PDF from your document editor. A renamed Word file is not a PDF. Wait for the successful-upload message and confirm the file appears in your resume list.
Can I keep more than one resume and choose which one to send?
Yes. You can keep multiple named resumes in your profile and choose the version that fits each opportunity. For example, keep separate PDFs for an administrative role and a human-resources role.
The application record shows the resume selected for that application. Uploading another resume later does not replace the version attached to an earlier submission. Review the selected label carefully before confirming an application, and keep unnecessary personal or sensitive information out of every version.
What happens when I remove a resume?
Removing a resume from the choices in your profile prevents you from selecting it for a new application. If it was already used, the earlier application keeps its reference so that the submission history remains consistent.
To stop access through an existing application, use the withdrawal control in My applications. Closing your candidate account removes hosted resume files. Neither action can recall a copy an employer has already downloaded; contact that employer about its own records.
What should I leave out of my resume and initial messages?
Do not include Social Security numbers, bank-account information, passwords, verification codes, or copies of identity documents in a resume or an initial application message. Avoid medical information and other details that are not needed to understand your professional background.
An employer may have lawful verification steps later in a hiring process. Confirm the organization and the purpose through an independent official channel before sending sensitive records. The Jobbol support form is for a description of an issue, not for confidential documents.
Applying and following up
How do I apply for a job through Jobbol?
Open the full job description and choose Apply. Sign in to your candidate account if asked, complete and verify your profile, and select an available resume. Review the information you are sharing and confirm the application form.
Viewing a job, opening Quick view, or pressing the first Apply button does not submit an application. The completed form creates the application reference. After confirmation, open My applications to check the recorded opportunity, chosen resume, and next steps.
What changes when the employer accepts contact by phone?
For a listing with an application email, Jobbol records your confirmed application and queues an email with a protected resume link for the employer. If the listing provides only a phone number, Jobbol records your contact request and provides instructions for contacting the employer.
In the phone-only case, no application email is sent to that employer. You still need to call and ask how to apply. Check the instructions in your application record and confirmation email; the recorded request is not proof that the employer received your resume.
Where can I find my application reference and selected resume?
Open My applications and choose the relevant record. It shows the application reference, job details, resume label, delivery information where available, and employer updates.
Keep the reference when asking Jobbol about a submission problem. The record confirms that Jobbol saved the application or contact request; it does not prove inbox delivery, an employer’s review, or a hiring outcome. For a phone-only opportunity, follow the contact instructions shown in that record.
Does an application confirmation mean the employer received the email?
A confirmation means the submission was recorded. Email is processed through a delivery queue. “Queued” means waiting for processing; acceptance by the email service means the service accepted the message, not that it reached the inbox or was read.
Delivery can be delayed or fail. Check the delivery section of the application record before attempting to submit again. If an issue persists, send support the application reference. Do not send your resume or password through the support form.
What do email-open and resume-download signals mean?
An application email may contain a small image that records an opening signal. Email privacy features, antivirus tools, and automated systems can load that image without a recruiter reading the message. An opening signal is therefore not proof that a person saw your resume.
A resume-download event records access through the protected download flow. It still does not prove a careful review or a hiring decision. Explicit employer status updates are separate; check the message and status shown in My applications.
What do the employer’s application statuses mean?
An employer can record recruiting updates such as Under review, Selected for an interview, Offer planned, Hired, or Not selected. These are employer-reported stages, not decisions made by Jobbol.
Read the accompanying message for instructions. An interview status does not arrange a date automatically, and “Offer planned” is not a signed offer. If there is no update, do not assume that you were rejected or shortlisted. Employers decide whether and when to respond.
Where do employer messages appear, and can employers see my email?
Recorded employer updates appear in the application detail and may also generate an email to your account. The protected recruiter page does not display your account email as a general contact field. It can show the professional information you chose to share, including an optional phone number.
Your selected resume may itself contain your email or other contact details. Read the employer’s message and use its stated contact information when a reply is needed. Jobbol’s recorded updates are not a promise of a live two-way chat.
Can I withdraw an application?
Use the withdrawal action in My applications for the relevant submission and confirm it. The application is marked withdrawn and its protected employer-access links are revoked. Pending application emails can be cancelled as part of that process.
Withdrawal cannot recall email that already reached an employer or files already downloaded. If you need an employer to remove its own copy, contact that organization directly. Withdrawing does not create a new application or replace the resume used in the original record.
Should I apply again if the page was slow or showed an error?
Check My applications first. The portal protects against duplicate submissions for the same candidate and job; a repeated request may return the reference that was already created.
If there is no recorded submission, return to the job and check that it is still available before trying again. Do not repeatedly click the confirmation button while a request is pending. If you selected the wrong resume or have a withdrawal question, ask support rather than creating additional accounts to resend the application.
Does clicking an external opportunity submit my application?
No. For opportunities that lead to a partner website, opening the link only takes you to the external listing. Read the instructions and complete your application on that service.
Jobbol does not necessarily receive confirmation of an application made outside the portal. The destination’s terms and privacy practices apply; a click is not a recorded Jobbol application.
How can I identify a sponsored opportunity?
Sponsored opportunities are labeled in the interface. When you apply on a partner website, the screen explains the redirect before you continue.
Sponsorship does not guarantee hiring or replace checking the job and employer. Opening the destination does not submit an application automatically. Jobbol’s internal tools do not confirm the outcome of external applications.
Partners may pay Jobbol to promote opportunities or for clicks. Jobbol works to connect job seekers with reliable partners. We assess our partners and take reports about sponsored opportunities seriously. If you see something concerning, contact us with the job link so we can review it. As with any job search, check the employer and never pay anyone to secure a job.

How do I save jobs for later?
Use the heart symbol on a job card while signed into your candidate account. Your saved list is available in Saved jobs. You can remove a job from the shortlist when it no longer interests you.
Saving is private account organization: it does not apply, notify the employer, or reserve the vacancy. A saved job can close or expire. Open its full page and confirm that it is still accepting applications before proceeding.
How do I create a job alert?
You can create an alert from an eligible search by opening Create job alert and confirming that you want email updates for those criteria. The application form can also offer an optional checkbox for new jobs matching the role and location.
Alerts are a separate choice; applying does not require subscribing. Review the selected role, location, and filters before saving. Open Job alerts to see the alerts associated with your candidate account.
How do I stop one alert or all job alerts?
Open Job alerts. Use the available selection controls to delete one alert, selected alerts, or all alerts. You can also use the unsubscribe link in an alert email and confirm the unsubscribe action on the page it opens.
Stopping job alerts does not stop essential account-security or application-related messages. If you still receive an alert, check whether it comes from a different alert or account, then contact support with the message subject and approximate time. Do not share its private unsubscribe token publicly.
Why have I not received a job alert yet?
An active alert does not guarantee that a new matching opportunity will appear. The background process checks for eligible new matches in batches and avoids sending the same job repeatedly for that alert. An alert may therefore stay quiet when nothing new matches.
Check spam and junk folders and confirm the account email. You can broaden the search and create a new alert if the criteria are too narrow. Email delivery may also be delayed or temporarily paused; tell support if the problem persists.
Privacy and your information
How do I change cookies and optional analytics preferences?
Use Privacy choices in the footer to open the preference controls. Accept or reject optional analytics and recent-search continuity. Essential functions such as sign-in, form security, and your selected preferences continue to use necessary storage.
The portal respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for optional analytics. A rejection does not erase an application record or disable security controls. For questions about stored account data, use the privacy request form; see also Cookies and preferences.
What is stored in my recent-search activity?
When you allow optional continuity features, recent searches and viewed jobs are kept on this browser for a limited period to help you resume browsing. This is different from Saved jobs, which you deliberately save in your account.
Use the clear-history control in the recent-activity panel to remove that browser’s recent items and hidden-suggestion choices. Rejecting optional analytics also disables this continuity feature. Clearing recent activity does not delete account applications, resumes, or saved jobs; manage those in their own account sections.
Do I have to share my precise location?
No. Select a city manually if you do not want to share browser location. The portal requests location only when you choose the relevant control, and your browser asks for permission.
Coordinates are used to match a nearby U.S. city; the selected city is the preference used for browsing. The location feature does not store those precise coordinates as a profile field. Hosting and security systems can still process connection information. Read Privacy policy for the broader data practices.
How can I ask about, correct, or request deletion of my data?
Use Your privacy choices or Contact us, choose the privacy request type, and explain what you need. You do not need to sign in to send a request. Include the account email if relevant, but do not submit passwords, verification codes, Social Security numbers, or identity documents in that form.
Some information can be updated directly in your profile or account settings. Jobbol may need to verify an account-related request before disclosing or changing records. Available legal rights and exceptions depend on the applicable law and circumstances.
What happens if I close my candidate account?
Use the account-closure control in My account and confirm with your password. The process removes your profile, hosted resumes, saved jobs, and alerts, disables sign-in, and revokes protected employer links. Retained application records are marked withdrawn and personal fields are removed or replaced.
Closing an account cannot recall information already received or downloaded by an employer. It also does not erase every operational, security, or legally required record automatically. Ask through Privacy choices if you need clarification about particular data.
Safety, accessibility, and support
How do I report a suspicious or inaccurate job?
Open Contact us, choose Report a job, and include the job-page link. Describe the concern—for example, an incorrect city, a company impersonation, a request for payment, or misleading pay. Include only information needed to explain the issue.
Sending a report records it for Jobbol’s support review. It does not automatically remove a listing or contact a hiring manager. If you believe money or identity information has been stolen, contact the relevant authorities and financial provider as appropriate.
What are common warning signs of a job scam?
Be cautious if someone asks you to pay to secure a role, send gift cards or cryptocurrency, deposit a check and return part of it, or buy equipment through an unfamiliar seller. Pressure to act immediately and requests for sensitive records before a credible interview also deserve scrutiny.
Verify the organization through an independent official channel. An email, company logo, or Jobbol listing is not proof of legitimacy. Stop sharing information if something feels wrong, read Job search safety, and report the job link through Contact us.
How do I contact Jobbol, and is that the same as applying?
Use Contact us for platform questions, privacy or accessibility requests, and reports about listings. Include the page link, what you tried, and the error message; for an application issue, include the application reference.
The form saves a message for Jobbol’s support team. It is not a job application, does not deliver a resume to a recruiter, and does not guarantee an immediate reply. To apply, return to the job page and follow its application or phone-contact instructions.
What if I cannot use a form or another part of the site?
You can navigate the main controls with a keyboard, change the display theme, and use browser zoom. The interface also respects reduced-motion preferences. If a control is difficult to use, tell us rather than entering inaccurate information to get around it.
Choose Accessibility on Contact us and describe the page, the task, and what blocked you. Device, browser, or assistive-technology details can help, if you wish to share them. Do not include medical records. Read the accessibility statement for more information.
Employer accounts
How do I create an employer account?
Start at Create an employer account. Enter your name and an email address you control, then verify the numeric code. Continue with a secure password and the required account details before completing the company profile.
A candidate account does not provide employer access. Register as an authorized representative of the organization you intend to recruit for. Email verification confirms access to the address; it does not approve the company, establish ownership of a company record, or publish a job.
What if my employer verification code or link does not work?
Check the address entered and look in spam or filtered folders. Use the latest message and keep the registration flow in the browser where you started. If a code or link expired, request a fresh one from the relevant account screen.
Do not share codes, password-reset links, or application-access links. A company-review decision and an email-verification message serve different purposes. If the issue continues, send support the account email and a description of the failed step, without forwarding secret tokens.
How do I recover or change my employer password?
Use Employer password recovery when you cannot sign in. Follow the verification instructions sent to the employer account email and choose a new password. Candidate password recovery does not reset an employer account.
When signed in, the security section in Settings lets you change the password using the current one. Use a unique passphrase and do not share one login across a recruiting team; use reviewed team access instead.
Are employer accounts and job postings free?
Employer accounts and individually reviewed job postings in this portal are free. There is no paid-upgrade or sponsored-placement checkout in the current employer workspace. Posting does not guarantee applicants, interviews, hires, or placement in a search engine.
The company must be approved and each job must pass its own review. Before creating an account, read the Employer terms and Job Posting Policy. Report any payment request that claims to be necessary for approval through Contact us.
Company identity and review
What information should I put in the company profile?
Open Company profile and provide the organization’s legal and public names, website, industry, institutional description, primary location, and the appropriate recruiting contact details. The form identifies required information and offers optional public details where supported.
Use accurate, plain-English descriptions. Do not include confidential personnel records or unnecessary identity documents. Address-publication choices control public address details where offered; an account contact is not automatically a public contact. Check the preview and submit the profile for review when the required fields are complete.
My company is already listed. Can I select it and start posting?
The company autocomplete helps locate an existing public identity and avoid duplicate records. Select the correct organization using its name and distinguishing details, then request association through the profile flow.
Selecting a suggestion does not give you control of that company. The association remains subject to review and suitable evidence of authority. Be careful with similarly named businesses, branches, brands, and parent groups. If the match is uncertain, explain it to support instead of claiming another organization’s page.
How does Jobbol check my connection to a company?
Jobbol reviews the company profile and association request separately from account-email verification. A corporate email domain and consistent public business information can support the review, but a matching name alone is not proof of authority.
If your business uses a general email provider, give accurate website, contact, and business information and explain your role. The review team may request clarification through the available support or review channels. Do not upload unnecessary identity documents or assume that a company-domain address guarantees approval.
Can I update an approved company’s name, logo, or description?
You can propose appropriate profile changes through Company profile. Proposed changes are reviewed before they replace the shared public company information. Selecting or editing a name does not authorize a merge with another company.
Reliable existing information is protected through review and change history. A pending profile request can temporarily prevent new job creation or submission until it is resolved. Changes approved for the public company identity then feed the relevant company and job displays; earlier application records can retain historical details.
How should I prepare my company logo and description?
Upload a logo that you are authorized to use and that clearly represents the correct organization. Use the file types and size limits shown by the upload control. The service validates the file and prepares a normalized image; a successful upload is not the same as approval for public replacement.
Write a short, factual company description in clear English. Avoid promotional spam, unsupported claims, private information, and instructions for bypassing the application flow. Where no approved company logo is available, the portal uses its default image.
What does each company-review status mean?
A draft is still being prepared. A submitted or under-review profile is waiting for a decision. Changes requested means the reviewer needs corrections; a rejected or suspended profile cannot be used to publish jobs. Read the reason shown in your workspace before acting.
An approved company must also have the required approved association and application destination to use posting tools. Company approval does not approve any job automatically. Each job is submitted and reviewed separately. Check your workspace for the current next step.
How long does company or job review take?
Jobbol aims to review submitted company profiles and individual job postings within 24 hours. This is a target for review, not guaranteed publication or an automatic approval deadline.
Missing details, an unclear company association, verification issues, requests for correction, or review volume can require more time. Check the workspace status and updates for the requested next step. If you need to follow up, contact support with the account email and relevant submission reference rather than creating duplicate profiles or jobs.
What should I do if my profile is rejected or needs corrections?
Read the review reason in your employer workspace. If corrections are requested and editing is available, update the relevant details and submit the profile again. Make the correction specific—for example, clarify the website, business identity, or representative’s connection to the company.
If the profile is rejected or restricted and you cannot edit it, use Contact us to ask about the decision. Creating another account does not bypass a restriction. Approval is based on the reviewed information, not on repeated submissions.
What is the application email, and why must I verify it separately?
The application email is the approved destination for candidate applications. Your account sign-in email identifies your login; the application destination may serve a different purpose and must be verified through its own flow.
The company owner manages it in Settings. A new job submission uses the verified destination approved with that submission. Changing the account email or application destination does not silently redirect historical applications or already approved jobs. Review the job and submit changes for review when a destination needs to change.
Creating and managing jobs
How do I create and submit a job?
After the company and required association are approved, open Post a job. Enter the original job title, choose its standard occupation and relevant categories, and provide the job location, work arrangement, employment type, responsibilities, qualifications, and other applicable details.
Save a draft while preparing the posting. When the required information is complete, confirm your authority and the posting’s accuracy, then submit it for review. Saving or submitting does not publish the job immediately; the individual review must be approved.
Which job details are required for review?
A submission needs a meaningful title, a selected standard occupation, at least one professional category, a valid U.S. city, and sufficient description, responsibility, and qualification text. The form also records work arrangement and employment type. Remote jobs need eligible applicant locations.
Use actual information about the position. A city selected for a remote listing does not replace its remote-region restrictions. Do not put contact instructions, unrelated advertisements, or sensitive-data requests into the job description to bypass the approved application process.
How should I enter salary and compensation information?
Enter real positive amounts in U.S. dollars, choose the pay period, and make sure the maximum is not below the minimum. Explain relevant benefits or compensation conditions in the appropriate job fields.
The form can technically accept a blank salary field, but that does not determine whether omission is lawful. Employers are responsible for the pay range, benefits, and other disclosures required where a job is advertised or may be performed. Review the applicable state and local requirements before submitting. Do not invent a range to pass review.
How do I describe a remote or hybrid job accurately?
Choose the appropriate work arrangement. For a remote posting, identify whether applicants may work throughout the United States or only in specified U.S. states, using the form’s supported options. State any schedule, travel, equipment, or on-site requirements clearly in the description.
For hybrid work, select the real job city and explain the expected on-site component. Do not describe a geographically restricted position as “work from anywhere.” The current posting form supports its listed U.S. location scopes; contact support when the actual requirements do not fit them.
How do job titles and categories work?
Enter the job title as you want it advertised. You do not need to choose a standardized occupation. Categories describe the professional field and other relevant characteristics of the opportunity.
You may select up to eight relevant categories, including at least one professional field. After review, the original title and validated categories help populate the job-title directory. Choose only categories that accurately describe the work.
Can I save a job before it is complete?
Yes. Save a draft while preparing the posting and return to it from Jobs. A draft is private to the authorized workspace and does not become a public job because it was saved.
Submission performs the complete-information checks and requires the appropriate company approval and verified application email. If a form reports that the record changed, reopen the current version before saving; this protects another team member’s edits from being overwritten.
How do I know whether a job is actually live?
Check the job’s status in Jobs and open its detail page. Draft, Awaiting review, and Changes requested are not public publication states. A published job must also remain eligible and unexpired to appear on the public site.
Use the public-page link when it is available to verify the visible listing. Company approval, a saved draft, or an email confirming receipt of a submission does not by itself mean the job is live. Search updates may take a short time to synchronize.
What happens when I edit a published job?
Editing a published job requires confirmation that it will be removed from the public site while the revised version is reviewed. The updated content becomes a draft, and you must submit it again for approval.
This prevents unreviewed changes to an active listing. Make all necessary corrections together, review the application destination and location, and submit the complete version. Existing application records keep the details associated with their original submissions; editing the job does not rewrite those records.
How do I respond to changes requested or a rejected job?
Open the job detail and read the review reason. When the status permits correction, edit the requested details, save, and resubmit. Check the job’s identity, location, requirements, and pay disclosures rather than just changing a few words.
A rejected or restricted submission may require support before editing becomes available. Use Contact us with the submission link and your question. Duplicating a rejected posting or using another company account is not a way to bypass review.
How do I stop accepting applications for a filled job?
Open the job in Jobs, use its close action, and confirm. The public listing stops accepting new applications through the portal after it is closed.
Close filled, withdrawn, or inaccurate opportunities promptly instead of waiting for expiry. Closing the job does not erase its existing application history or send a hiring decision to every candidate automatically. Record appropriate individual recruiting updates in the application area when needed.
Can I reopen a closed or expired posting?
A closed or expired posting must be checked and submitted for a new review before it can become public again. Open the existing job, update any outdated details, and use the available resubmission flow.
Reopening is not an automatic extension or a way to bypass the publication checks. Confirm that the opportunity is still genuine and that the location, compensation, responsibilities, and application destination are current. Historical applications remain associated with their original records.
How long can an approved job stay available?
Listings have a limited active period of no more than 30 days under the portal’s current posting rules. You can select a supported earlier closing date. A job may be closed sooner if it is filled, withdrawn, restricted, or needs another review.
A status shown in the workspace is checked against actual public availability. Do not assume that a search-engine copy or saved candidate link means the job is still accepting applications. To advertise a continuing need, review the job and submit it again through the supported process.
Can I hide my company’s identity in a new employer posting?
The current self-service job form does not offer a confidentiality switch. Do not replace your company with a false name or select another organization to conceal the advertiser.
If you have a legitimate confidential-recruitment requirement, contact Jobbol before submitting and explain what information must remain private. Company and job records with existing confidentiality rules must keep those protections. A public company directory entry does not authorize disclosure of private recruiting or account information.
Applications and candidate information
Where do I find applications for my jobs?
Use Applications in the authorized company workspace. Search for the candidate, job, or reference and open the relevant record. You can review the selected resume label, application details, and recorded status.
Applications sent to the verified destination can also contain a protected access link. Keep that link private. A public company page does not grant application access, and a similarly named organization’s imported listing must not be treated as a posting owned by your account.
How are candidate resumes delivered and downloaded?
The application notification provides a protected link rather than a public directory of candidate files. Authorized access lets you view the application details and confirm a resume download. The record identifies the resume version selected for that submission.
Downloads can be recorded and shown to the candidate. Keep downloaded copies secure and use them only for the relevant legitimate recruiting purpose. Protected links can expire or be revoked after withdrawal or account changes; forwarding a link to an unauthorized person is not an approved way to add a recruiter.
How do I send a recruiting status or message to a candidate?
Open the application, choose an available status, review the message, and confirm the action. Recorded updates may be shown in the candidate’s account and sent by email. Use accurate wording: an interview status should not imply that a meeting has been scheduled unless you have actually arranged it.
The flow prevents repeated messages for the same recorded status and restricts invalid transitions. It is not a general-purpose chat system. Keep messages professional and relevant, and do not include requests for payment or unnecessary sensitive information.
Why did a protected application link stop working?
A protected link may expire, be revoked after withdrawal or account closure, or become unavailable because access conditions changed. The link grants access only for the relevant application; it is not a permanent public resume URL.
If you are an authorized recruiter, check your employer workspace or ask support about the specific application reference. Do not try to bypass an expired link or ask the candidate for passwords or verification codes. Copies previously downloaded remain your responsibility to safeguard.
Does a published job guarantee applications or hires?
No. Publication makes an eligible listing available on the portal, but candidates decide whether to apply and employers make hiring decisions. Job views and apply-click activity are different from completed, recorded applications.
Review the accuracy and clarity of the title, location, pay, qualifications, and responsibilities. Avoid misleading promises or unnecessary barriers. If the job is not publicly available when you expect it to be, check its review status and closing date before treating low activity as a technical problem.
What are my responsibilities when handling candidate information?
Access candidate information only when you are authorized to recruit for the relevant organization. Use it for the legitimate recruiting purpose, limit access, protect downloaded copies, and follow applicable privacy and employment requirements.
Do not sell resumes, reuse application contacts for unrelated marketing, or publish protected links. Candidate withdrawal can revoke Jobbol-hosted access but cannot delete your downloaded copies. Handle requests about your own records through your organization’s appropriate process. See Employer terms and Privacy policy.
Team access and account help
Can several recruiters work with the same company?
Yes, through the reviewed team-access flow. The company owner requests recruiter access for an email address. The invited person needs a verified employer account, accepts the invitation, and must receive the required review approval before access is granted.
Use Team & workspaces to manage requests and available memberships. Owner and recruiter permissions differ; recruiters do not automatically gain control of the shared company identity or owner-only settings. Do not share the owner’s password as a substitute for membership.
How do I switch between companies I am authorized to manage?
Open Team & workspaces and select an available company workspace. The list is based on active approved memberships, not on every company in the public directory.
Before editing a job or reviewing applications, confirm that the correct workspace is selected. Access to one branch, brand, or company does not automatically authorize access to others. If the organization is missing, resolve the association or membership request rather than selecting a similar public name.
How do I remove a recruiter’s company access?
An authorized owner can manage recruiter membership in Team & workspaces. Remove access when the person no longer recruits for the organization, and check whether other operational credentials also need to be changed.
Removing membership does not delete the canonical public company or its historical job records. It also cannot recall files the recruiter already downloaded. Ownership changes or disputes should be raised with Jobbol support rather than attempted through a normal recruiter invitation.
How do I request closure of an employer account?
Contact Jobbol through Contact us using an address connected with the employer account. Explain whether you want to close the login, end a company association, or stop all current recruiting. The current employer settings do not provide an immediate self-service closure button.
Close active jobs promptly if you no longer want applications. Support may need to verify authority and consider other authorized members and required records. Account closure should not erase a shared company identity or unrelated historical listings automatically.
What should I include when asking for employer support?
Include the employer account email, company name, and the relevant job or application reference. Describe the exact step, status, or error, and explain what you expected. For an identity dispute, describe your relationship to the organization without sending unnecessary sensitive documents.
Use Contact us. Never include passwords, verification codes, private application links, or candidate resumes in the message. The form records the issue for support; it does not automatically approve a company, publish a job, or send a response to candidates.
