About this opportunity
A well-established and growing consumer products company located in Lake Charles is seeking a Key Account Manager to help expand its customer base and drive new business growth.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing opportunity for a strong B2B sales professional and true business developer. The focus will be on identifying and winning large, high-volume customers, developing new opportunities, and strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
The Opportunity
- Identify and pursue large corporate customers and strategic accounts
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline from prospecting through close
- Develop relationships with senior buyers and decision-makers
- Identify private-label and other new business opportunities
- Grow existing accounts and look for opportunities to increase volume and share
- Partner closely with operations to ensure customer commitments can be delivered effectively
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is driven, persistent, resourceful, and enjoys the challenge of opening doors and winning new business. You should be comfortable working with senior decision-makers and have a track record of growing revenue in a B2B sales environment.
Experience in retail, grocery, wholesale, food & beverage, consumer products, or another high-volume sales environment is a plus, but direct industry experience is not required.
Location: Lake Charles, LA
