International Trade Associate

Lateral Link is assisting a global AmLaw20 firm with a new opportunity for an International Trade Associate to join the firm’s D.C. office.

This sophisticated export controls practice advises clients on some of the most dynamic regulatory issues.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years' trade experience, including export controls and an interest in working across counseling, transactional, compliance, and investigations matters. The associate will also be responsible for conducting export controls and national security diligence in connection with M&A, investments, and other corporate transactions.

In addition to export controls, the candidate should have experience with the EAR and/or ITAR. Experience with sanctions, CFIUS, outbound investment, investigations, or transactional diligence is a plus.

This is an opportunity to join a group that does a lot of cross-practice work.

The work is really varied and interesting, composed of a tight knit dedicated team.
