The Opportunity

You'll be the tax lead on a set of client families, working side by side with their wealth advisor. You'll review returns, build each family's tax plan, and handle complex questions as they come up. You'll also supervise and develop our associates. Planning drives this role as much as compliance does.

What You'll Do

• Review individual, trust, partnership, and corporate returns, schedules, and workpapers
• Serve as the tax lead on each family's engagement team, alongside their wealth advisor
• Assess each family's overall tax picture and build a plan with the engagement team
• Prepare long-term estate modeling based on goals, current data, tax rates, inflation, and investment assumptions
• Lead internal discussions on complex, client-specific tax matters
• Supervise, review, and train associates and senior associates

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of US income tax preparation and planning experience
• In-depth knowledge of US tax law
• US CPA (or equivalent) and a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Clear writer and speaker who can explain complex tax issues simply
• You take ownership of your work and see it through, and you keep the team in the loop
• You do well on a small team where everyone wears a few hats
• Experience with tax software, Excel, and Salesforce
