A growing financial services organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to manage day-to-day AP operations, support month-end close activities, and play a key role in an upcoming AP system migration.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals
• Manage ACH, wire, and check payment processing
• Maintain vendor records and handle vendor communications
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payment of obligations
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations related to AP
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Support audits and regulatory examinations
• Participate in AP system migration and process improvement projects
• Help develop and maintain AP policies, procedures, and internal controls

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable and/or general accounting experience
• Strong understanding of AP processes and internal controls
• Experience with reconciliations and month-end close support
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• System implementation or conversion experience is a plus
• Banking, financial services, or regulated industry experience is a plus
