Sales Associate

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established business membership organization in South Florida. They connect local businesses with resources, visibility, and a strong professional network, and they’re growing their sales team.

This role is a good fit for someone who likes being out in the community, enjoys talking with business owners, and is motivated by hitting goals.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for bringing new businesses into the organization. That means finding the right prospects, getting in front of decision makers, and showing them how membership can help their business. You’ll split your time between the office and the field, and you’ll be a familiar face at networking events throughout the year.

What you’ll do

• Research and build your own prospect lists using business directories, local news, licensing records, and other sources
• Reach out to business owners by phone, email, and in person to set meetings
• Present membership options and close new business
• Manage your pipeline and keep notes up to date in the CRM
• Serve as the staff point of contact for a business networking group, helping it run smoothly and keeping members engaged
• Attend monthly networking events and represent the organization in the community
• Help with member retention outreach alongside the rest of the team
• Hit monthly sales goals

What they’re looking for

• Proven sales experience, ideally in B2B, memberships, advertising, or other relationship-based sales
• Comfortable prospecting and generating your own leads
• Strong communicator, both in conversation and in writing
• Confident speaking in front of groups and presenting to business owners
• Very organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage several priorities at once
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while still being a good teammate
• Comfortable with Word, Excel, and CRM software
• Familiarity with the local business community is a big plus

Compensation

Commission-based pay tied to monthly goals, with strong earning potential for consistent performers.
