Controller

Our client is a fast-growing, private equity-backed company with multiple locations across several states. Family-built over generations, it now grows through acquisitions as well as organically.

The Controller owns the accounting function and team, reports to the CFO, and has a real voice at the leadership table. This is a hands-on seat with room to build and scale the team as the company grows.

What you'll own

• Month-end close and financial statements across multiple entities and sites
• Inventory accounting across locations
• Annual audit and financial controls
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash forecasting
• Tax and government compliance
• Getting acquired businesses onto the books
• Leading, coaching, and growing the accounting team

What you bring

• 8+ years in accounting, with team leadership
• Multi-entity, multi-site experience
• Inventory accounting
• Advanced ERP skills and strong presentation skills
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Business; CPA strongly preferred

Details

• In office, northwest suburbs
• $150,000 to $200,000 base, depending on experience, plus 30% bonus
