Our client is a private equity backed services company with locations in several states. They are growing fast, both on their own and by buying other companies.

This seat helps the Corporate Controller run the monthly close and owns inventory accounting. You will lead a small team, fix what is broken, and help the books keep up with the growth.

What you'll own

• Month end close: journal entries, roll forwards, and account recs
• Inventory accounting: balances, controls, trends, and variances
• Financial statements for the Controller's review
• Support schedules for monthly reporting and bank covenants
• Accounting setup for newly bought companies, including purchase accounting
• Audit and tax support
• KPIs on processing speed and exceptions
• Lead, coach, and grow a small team of accountants

What you bring

• BS in Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Hands-on inventory accounting and controls
• Work in a high volume, multi-location business
• Strong Excel
• You jump into problems and push them to a fix

Nice to have

• CPA
• Experience leading or training staff
• Workday Adaptive Planning
• PE backed or acquisition experience

• Base pay $90,000 to $110,000
