Elite Criminal and Civil Litigation Associate – NYC (Midtown; Hybrid)

We have been retained by a premier white-collar boutique representing individuals and entities in criminal prosecutions, criminal and regulatory investigations, and civil litigation, which seeks to hire an associate with two to five years of relevant litigation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage matters involving criminal prosecutions, criminal and regulatory investigations, and civil litigation
• Draft motions, briefs, and other case-related work product
• Assist with client communications and case strategy
• Work closely with senior attorneys on complex, high-stakes matters

What the Firm Seeks

• About two to five years (classes of 2021 to 2024) of relevant experience
• Strong academic credentials and a Big Law background or equivalent
• Ability to manage substantive responsibility independently
• In-office Tuesday through Thursday, and Monday/Friday as needed for client matters, deadlines, or court appearances

What the Firm Offers

• Base salary of about $205,000 to $245,000, depending on class year and experience
• Significant discretionary bonus compensation potential
• A smaller environment with caseload split roughly evenly between white-collar and civil litigation
• Hours generally below large law firm norms over the year, with periods of high monthly hours during active litigation
• Hybrid schedule with in-office presence concentrated midweek
