Sports M&A Associate (3rd–6th Year) | New York

We are currently under mandate from a leading firm with a top-tier sports practice who are looking to strengthen their M&A team in New York. They require a 3rd to 6th year* corporate associate to join a busy transactional group advising on deals across professional sports.

The work spans the acquisition and sale of teams and franchises, minority stake investments, private equity and institutional capital coming into sport, and transactions involving leagues, sports media and related businesses. You would be working on high-profile matters alongside partners who are recognised leaders in the sector.

About you:

• Strong M&A experience gained at a major US or international law firm
• Exposure to private equity, minority investments or sports transactions is an advantage but not essential
• Excellent academics
• Admitted to the New York Bar
• A genuine interest in the business of sport
