Tax Attorney

Our client, a prestigious international law firm, is seeking a Sophisticated Transactional Tax Attorney with significant experience advising on complex transactions and working closely with corporate deal teams. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in several of the following areas:

• M&A, dispositions, and other corporate transactions
• Private investment fund formation and structuring
• Partnership and corporate taxation
• Joint ventures, including real estate and other strategic investments
• Domestic and cross-border investment and transaction structuring

Experience with public or private financings, international tax planning, and family office or high-net-worth investment structures would be a plus, but is not required.

The firm is primarily interested in candidates from Am Law 100 firms or highly regarded New York tax boutiques. Importantly, this is a true practice need and not a portable business search, so a book of business is not required.

They are also open to thinking creatively about level. In addition to current partners, they would strongly consider an exceptional senior associate or counsel with the technical sophistication and experience for elevation to partner.
