Premises Liability Settlement Attorney

We are working with a major, New York based utility company seeking a New York licensed attorney experienced in negotiating and settling personal injury claims, including, especially, those involving premises liability. The hired attorney will be able quickly to grasp the facts of a case and assess case value for resolution purposes. The successful candidate will be a strong writer with experience mediating cases both privately and in court. The role encompasses no hands-on litigation, but settlements only, making it ideal for an alternative dispute resolution professional or an experienced litigator. Mediation training is a definite plus.

The company desires to fill the position as soon as possible. The work is expected to endure for up to twelve (12) months. The position is onsite during the first week and hybrid, thereafter (three days in-office [Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday] and two days remote), for an expected 40 hr./wk. Compensation is $100/hr. Applicants must submit two to three (2-3) writing samples (redacted documents are fine).
