  • Breaking News Coverage: Respond quickly to developing stories and changing newsroom priorities while maintaining accuracy and journalistic integrity.
  • Digital & Social Media: Create and publish engaging content across the station's website, streaming, and social media platforms.
  • Community Engagement: Build meaningful relationships with viewers and community organizations to identify stories that matter.
  • Newsroom Collaboration: Work closely with anchors, producers, editors, and other journalists to deliver high-quality news coverage.
  • Journalistic Standards: Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, fairness, ethics, and professionalism.
  • Additional Opportunities: Participate in special programming, live events, and sports coverage when appropriate.

  • Strong on-camera presence and effective storytelling skills.
  • Excellent news judgment with commitment to accuracy, fairness, and community-focused journalism.
  • Experience with video cameras, audio equipment, and nonlinear editing software preferred.
  • Understanding of digital journalism, social media, and multiplatform content distribution.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel for news coverage and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to reporting assignments.
