Debt Finance Associate Attorney

An elite international firm is hiring a debt finance associate (3–9 years) in New York. Cravath scale — $260K–$435K depending on class year.

You'd join a global finance practice acting for sponsors, direct lenders, banks, funds, and corporates on acquisition financings, refinancings, and liability management, with real deal ownership at your level and a bench that runs both borrower- and lender-side mandates rather than one or the other.

The work includes:

• Leveraged finance and acquisition financings for private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies
• Private credit and direct lending, including unitranche and holdco structures
• Fund finance — subscription lines and NAV facilities — plus infrastructure and hybrid capital financings
• Syndicated credit facilities, cross-border lending, and liability management transactions

What you bring:

• 3–9 years of debt finance, leveraged finance, or private credit experience at a peer firm
• Sponsor-side reps drafting and negotiating credit agreements and intercreditor arrangements
• Strong academics and a real interest in the finance practice
• New York bar admission or the ability to waive in
