A highly successful family office is seeking a Manager, Investment Accounting & Performance to join its investment team. Reporting directly to the SVP, Portfolio Oversight, this individual will have ownership of the firm’s investment-side accounting, performance reporting, and related investment operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee investment accounting and performance activities performed by the outsourced Administrator
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of investment transactions, valuations, and performance
- Review and analyze investment performance reporting and accounting calculations
- Review investment fund financial statements and monitor portfolio activity
- Oversee investment-related cash activity and daily/monthly reconciliations
- Partner with custodians, investment advisors, and the Administrator on account openings, asset transfers, and other investment operations
- Support annual audit and investment-related tax processes, including K-1s and 1099s
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, reporting, and controls
- Leverage data analytics, automation, AI, and technology to improve efficiency and scalability
- 5–10 years of experience in investment accounting, performance, and/or investment operations
- Experience within an allocator environment such as a family office, endowment, foundation, or similar investment organization strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of alternative investments across multiple structures and strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple complex priorities
