Accounting Manager - Confidential Family Office - Miami

A private investment organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its portfolio oversight team. This is a high-impact opportunity for an investment accounting/operations professional with strong experience across alternative investments, performance reporting, and portfolio operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced investment administration, including investment accounting, transaction processing, valuations, and performance reporting
• Review investment accounting and performance data for accuracy
• Monitor investment-related cash activity, reconciliations, transfers, and portfolio operations
• Partner with custodians, investment advisors, and administrators
• Review financial statements and support quarterly reporting
• Support annual audit, tax reporting, K-1s, 1099s
• Identify opportunities to improve processes
• Leverage emerging technologies to improve efficiency
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA and/or CFA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in investment accounting, performance, or investment operations
• Strong experience with alternative investments, including PE, VC, RE, hedge funds/global macro, SMAs, etc.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus
  
  

This is an excellent opportunity to join a lean accounting team in an established family office. The expected compensation range for this position is between $150K-$180K, depending on experience.
