Fraud Risk Analyst

Heitmeyer Consulting is currently looking for a Fraud Risk Analyst in the Richmond, VA area. This is an onsite position, so the person needs to live in the Richmond, VA area. No C2C or agencies can be used.

Fraud Risk Management is responsible for ensuring protection of an organization against frauds.

Activities may include:

• Monitoring and acting on intellectual property infringement to protect the brand.
• Anti-money laundering.
• Establishing strategies/tactics for fraud management.
• Preventing/detecting/investigating fraud cases against customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

Assignment Specialization Definition

Fraud Investigations activities may include:

• Investigates suspected incidents of illegal activity or cases of suspected fraud by teammates, vendors, or third parties.
• Coordinates information gathering and reporting with applicable law enforcement authorities, and present evidence to court.
• Maintains case management and evidence in accordance with legal requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Assignment Level Definition

Applies practical knowledge of a job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Responsibilities typically include:

• Working independently with general supervision.
• Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
• May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Typically requires 3 - 5+ years prior experience, with practical knowledge of job area
