About this opportunity
Love the technical side of financial planning? Ready to own it?
At Palante Wealth Advisors, we help families lead a great life in retirement, knowing their best years are yet to come.
We're looking for an experienced, technically strong financial planning professional to take ownership of the planning function that makes that possible.
This is not a sales-first role. It's an opportunity to focus on what you do best: solving complex financial planning challenges, developing thoughtful strategies, and helping clients make confident decisions about their future.
- Own the development and ongoing refinement of comprehensive retirement plans.
- Lead technical retirement income analysis, including Social Security, pensions, RMDs, and portfolio withdrawal strategies.
- Identify and develop tax-planning opportunities, including Roth conversions and tax-efficient distribution strategies.
- Review client financial information and translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members and other professionals to integrate investment, tax, and estate planning considerations.
- Help strengthen our planning processes and technical standards as the firm grows.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
- CFP® designation or actively pursuing it.
- Series 65 or an accepted equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge of retirement income planning, tax strategy, and investment distribution.
- Confidence reviewing tax returns and evaluating complex retirement planning scenarios.
- A thoughtful, detail-oriented approach and the ability to explain sophisticated concepts in an approachable way.
- Someone who takes ownership, enjoys collaboration, and cares about the difference good planning makes in people's lives.
We believe retirement planning should be about more than managing investments. It's about creating income confidence, bringing the pieces of a financial life together, and helping people enjoy the retirement they've worked so hard to build.
At Palante, you'll have the opportunity to do meaningful planning, work alongside a collaborative team, and help shape the way we serve our clients.
