Accounting Manager

Join a growing manufacturing organization looking for a hands-on Cost Accounting Manager to lead cost accounting, inventory analysis, and financial reporting efforts. This role partners closely with operations and leadership to provide insights that drive profitability, improve efficiencies, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cost accounting activities across manufacturing operations
• Analyze product costs, labor, overhead, and inventory variances
• Lead monthly close activities related to inventory and cost accounting
• Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle counts and physical inventories
• Develop and maintain standard costing methodologies
• Partner with plant leadership to identify cost savings and operational improvements
• Prepare financial analysis, KPIs, and management reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning processes
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and controls

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience, including manufacturing or cost accounting
• Experience with inventory, standard costing, variance analysis, and month-end close
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills preferred
• Ability to communicate financial information to both finance and operations teams
