Interventional Radiologist (IR Physician)

Location: Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

Compensation: $550,000 Base Salary + Quarterly RVU Bonuses

Position Overview

The Beacon Group is recruiting an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a growing medical practice located on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.

We are seeking a highly skilled physician with a strong background in vascular interventions and embolization procedures. Experience performing Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) is preferred but not required.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, sound clinical judgment, and an interest in providing minimally invasive, image-guided treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of minimally invasive, image-guided vascular and embolization procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic angiography and therapeutic endovascular interventions.
• Evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform arterial embolization procedures using appropriate catheter-based techniques.
• Provide pre-procedure consultations and post-procedure follow-up care.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to established safety protocols.
• Support the continued growth and development of interventional radiology services.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Completion of an accredited Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship, or equivalent recognized training.
• Hands-on experience with vascular interventions and embolization procedures is required.
• Proficiency in angiography, catheter-based interventions, and endovascular techniques.
• Eligible for an unrestricted New York State medical license.
• Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE).
• Experience with other embolization procedures, including:
• Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
• Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE)
• Peripheral arterial embolization
• Other therapeutic endovascular procedures
• Experience in an outpatient or office-based interventional radiology setting.
• Interest in expanding minimally invasive vascular and embolization services.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $550,000

In addition to the competitive base salary, the position offers:

• Quarterly RVU-based performance bonuses
• Opportunity to earn additional compensation based on productivity
• Total compensation potential exceeding the $550,000 base salary, depending on RVU performance

We are looking for a motivated, clinically experienced Interventional Radiologist who is comfortable performing vascular and embolization procedures and interested in joining a growing practice.
