About this opportunity
Director of Wealth Services
Hermitage Wealth Management, Inc. | Richmond, VA | Full-Time, In-Office
A Different Kind of Wealth Management Role
Do you enjoy financial planning and working with clients, but not prospecting, cold calling, or the pressure to continually build a book of business?
Hermitage Wealth Management, Inc., a growing independent wealth management firm in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a Director of Wealth Services to help lead the client’s experience for our individual wealth management practice.
This is a service and leadership role—not a sales role. You will not be expected to build a book of business or prospect for new clients. Instead, you will help ensure that approximately 175 client households receive an exceptional, highly organized wealth management experience.
Hermitage manages close to $1 billion across two divisions. This position focuses on our individual wealth management practice, representing approximately $300 million in assets, and works closely with an experienced team of planning, new business, and client service professionals.

- Oversee timely completion of client service and planning action items.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and client classifications.
- Help identify client needs and issues requiring advisor attention.
- Provide leadership and accountability across the wealth services team.
- Over time, help develop client appreciation and referral initiatives.
Who We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate combines strong organization and follow-through with genuine warmth and an ability to build trusted client relationships.
You may be an experienced financial planner or wealth management professional who has discovered that you enjoy serving clients and leading a team more than prospecting for new business.

- Remain calm and organized in a fast-moving environment.
- Enjoy building long-term client relationships.
