Manual QA Tester for the ATM platform

Modis is seeking a Manual QA Tester for the ATM platform for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Rate Range: $55-60/Hr; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Must-Haves:

• Manual/functional testing experience
• Scripting ability
• Jira (or similar agile test management tool)
• Experience testing a UI with data manipulation
• Experience with device/hardware testing in a lab setting
• Understanding of Agile framework and the tester’s role in it
• Strong communication — able to document defects clearly, push back/ask key questions, and work independently

Nice-to-Haves:

• Manual testing on ATM-specific applications
• UAT testing experience
• Occasional Jira exposure (vs. daily use)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, document, and execute regression tests for ATM software releases
• Troubleshoot and isolate defects to root cause; document thoroughly
• Refine Epics/Stories/bugs within an Agile process
• Work hands-on in a lab testing ATM hardware/software/firmware
• Conduct exploratory and UAT testing, partnering with business stakeholders on acceptance
