Modis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid).
Ideally looking for applicants with a background in the financial services industry.
Rate Range: $60-70/Hr; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Summary
As a Developer you will work closely with business and technology partners to deliver solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring frameworks.
- Build and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services, microservices, and service-oriented applications.
- Develop data access and persistence layers using ORM frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Work with relational databases to develop and optimize SQL queries.
- Support application deployment and integration within containerized environments.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and iterative delivery.
- Follow established coding standards, development practices, and CI/CD processes.
