VP of Product and Technology

As of October 30th, a legal technology start-up is seeking a VP of Product & Technology to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced product and technology leader who wants to make a meaningful impact at a growing startup. The VP will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Owning and executing the company's overall product and technology strategy, roadmap, and priorities.
• Leading, managing, and developing the Product and Technology teams, fostering collaboration and continued growth.
• Driving AI strategy and implementation, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and deliver measurable results.
• Providing technical direction and partner with engineering on architecture, scalability, and product development decisions.
• Overseeing technology vendors, outsourced resources, and key external partnerships.
• Partnering with clients and internal leadership to support successful onboarding and evolving business needs.
• Advising on future hiring needs, technology investments, and departmental budgets.

Qualifications:

• 9–12+ years of product and/or technology leadership experience, ideally at a startup or scaling organization.
• Experience building and scaling product and technology teams, including managing and developing other leaders.
• Demonstrated AI product experience, with the ability to develop and execute a practical AI roadmap.
• Strong strategic thinking paired with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in day-to-day execution.
• Experience in legal tech, compliance, or another regulated industry is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
