Head of Royalty Audits

We're looking for the #1 royalty auditor in the world.

Someone who treats this work as an art: deeply experienced, relentless in the details, and personally hands-on. Someone with decades of experience and deep relationships across the industry. You know everyone, everyone knows you, and your reputation is built on the quality of your work.

Your mandate: assemble and lead the best team of human royalty auditors in the world, while staying close to the audits yourself. This isn't a role where you hire a team and step away. You’ll work directly with the founders to decide how the audit practice is built: the people we hire, the standards we set, and where we focus first. You’ll also help develop the product. Our AI is 100% accurate for modern contracts, but only 94% for older contracts, so you’ll help us improve the product until we are 100% for all royalty audits. You’ll help us deliver results to clients and lead the actual recovery alongside our AI bots, developed specifically for royalty recovery. 

In your first six months, we want the first key hires in place, rigorous audit and review standards, and a repeatable process for taking findings through to recovery. You’ll also help the technical team identify and test the product improvements that matter most to the audits.

• The technical depth to find where money gets missed and substantiate every finding.
• The relationships and judgment to recruit exceptional auditors and build an extraordinary team.
• ⁠Comfort building at a startup: real ownership, hard work and weekends when the work calls for it.
• Extreme detail orientation

You don’t need to have worked at a startup before. You do need to want to build one: make decisions with a small team, put the processes in place yourself and adapt quickly without compromising the quality of the work.

Compensation starts at $200K with an additional bonus (we win together), full benefits, and a generous equity stake that can make you generational wealth. We're building something ambitious, and we want this to be a career-defining opportunity.
