About this opportunity

Company Description 117 Entertainment Group is a multi-faceted entertainment firm specializing in publicity and marketing campaigns for musicians, events, brands, and artist management and development. The company’s approach centers on treating the artist as a brand, combining innovative and traditional outreach methods to expand visibility and impact. 117 Entertainment works with legendary country, rock and classic rock personalities, as well as emerging talent, offering broad opportunities within the music industry. Founded by Zach Farnum, the company is one of the fastest-rising firms in Nashville and is recognized by industry professionals nationwide. 117 Entertainment maintains a strong presence in New York and Los Angeles, providing a dynamic, industry-connected environment for team members.

Role Description We are seeking a Digital Manager to own the digital and content side of our artists' campaigns. This is a hands-on role for someone who can shoot it, cut it, write it, and post it. You will be building the visual and social presence for legendary country artists and developing acts alike, working closely with the Founder & CEO and the rest of our small, tight-knit team.

This is not a strategy-only seat. The right person is comfortable being at the show with a camera, back at a laptop editing it that night, and scheduling it out the next morning.

What You'll Do

Content capture and creation

  • Shoot and edit photo and video content at shows, studio sessions, photo shoots, media appearances, and events
  • Produce short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — performance clips, behind-the-scenes, announcement assets, and recap content
  • Turn live footage and existing assets into sizzlers, promos, and ad creative
  • Build graphics and visual assets for announcements, tour dates, releases, and campaigns

Social media management

  • Own day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community management across select artists and 117 accounts
  • Build and maintain content calendars aligned to release schedules, tour routing, and campaign beats
  • Write copy that sounds like the artist, not like a brand
  • Monitor comments and engagement; flag anything that needs a real response

Email, web, and digital assets

  • Build and deploy email campaigns in Mailchimp for artists and 117
  • Maintain and update artist websites and 117group.com
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors on digital assets as needed

Reporting and strategy

  • Track performance across platforms and report results and recommendations to leadership and clients
  • Stay current on platform changes, trends, and what is actually working in country and roots music
  • Contribute to shaping 117's broader digital strategy
  • Additional duties as assigned

Who You Are

Required:

  • 2+ years of hands-on digital marketing, social media, or content creation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit video and photo — you own the process from capture through post
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop) or equivalent editing tools, plus mobile-first tools like CapCut and Canva
  • Strong writer who can match an artist's voice
  • Fluent across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook — not just as a user, but as an operator who understands what each platform rewards
  • Comfortable working nights and weekends around show schedules, and traveling when a campaign calls for it
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful — comfortable owning your work while collaborating closely as part of a small team
  • Organized enough to juggle multiple artists and campaigns without dropping details
  • Knowledgeable in country music and pop culture, with awareness of current events
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and keep information highly confidential

Preferred:

  • Experience creating content for musicians, entertainment brands, or live events
  • Existing relationships in the Nashville music community
  • Motion graphics experience (After Effects) and basic web skills (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, and social scheduling platforms
  • Paid social experience across Meta and TikTok
  • Photography beyond a phone — you own and know your way around a camera
  • An existing body of work you can show us
