We are looking for a motivated HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join our hiring partner in Brooklyn, NY!
Key Responsibilities:
Develop HVAC system layouts while coordinating with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams. Prepare detailed construction drawings and documentation, assist with HVAC system design, equipment selection, sizing, and load calculations, resolve design conflicts, and ensure compliance with applicable building codes, energy codes, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of relevant mechanical engineering or MEP consulting experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge in mechanical design and calculation software of HVAC design, equipment sizing, and load calculations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Understanding of applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Experience working on high-rise multifamily projects is a plus (Preferred).
