Billing Clerk | Moss Point, MS

Fit Recruiting is partnering with an established company in the rail industry to find an experienced, detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join its team! This is a great opportunity for someone with railroad billing experience who enjoys working with numbers, managing details, and being part of a growing operation.

📍 Location: Moss Point, MS (In-office)

🕗 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (some flexibility available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review billing for railcar repairs.
• Verify repair orders, charges, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and distribute accurate invoices.
• Coordinate with shop managers and customers regarding billing.
• Maintain billing records and assist with accounts receivable reconciliation.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and support monthly reporting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in rail industry billing or accounting.
• Experience with AAR repair billing, AAR Office Manual, UMLER, and Railinc required.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with billing software.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
