Law Clerk – Personal Injury | Elman Joseph Law Group, LLC (Chicago Loop)
About Us
Elman Joseph Law Group is a boutique personal injury firm in the Chicago Loop with a high-volume caseload. Our clerks get hands-on experience across the full life of a case, with real room to grow in both responsibility and pay.
The Role
This is a full-time, on-site position (no remote option). You’ll work closely with our attorneys and staff to keep cases moving. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing settlement disbursement statements
- Organizing and maintaining case files
- Scheduling depositions and coordinating with court reporters
- Communicating with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel’s offices
- Answering phones and handling client inquiries
- Assisting attorneys with document preparation and case support
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required; J.D. and LL.M. graduates encouraged to apply
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Sharp attention to detail and accuracy
- Interest in personal injury law or litigation a plus
Additional Information
- We will consider candidates requiring H-1B visa sponsorship.
- Salary range: $45,000 to $50,000 beginning with additional bonuses and great salary growth opportunities
