Steel City Collectibles is one of the world's largest online retailers of sports and non-sports trading cards, autographed and game-used memorabilia, Pokemon and other trading card games, and live trading card break entertainment. We're passionate about the hobby and dedicated to delivering top-tier products and experiences to collectors around the world. 

As we continue to expand our marketing team, we're looking for a creative, driven, and social media-savvy Content Creator & Video Editor to help take our content to the next level. This is a hands-on content production role requiring creativity, productivity, initiative, and knowledge of the hobby!

This position reports directly to our marketing manager and is based at our headquarters in McKeesport, PA, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional travel and evening or weekend work may be required, including mandatory attendance at events such as Black Friday/Cyber Monday Weekend, one to two trade shows annually, and other company events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

You'll be responsible for producing four to five videos per week for our Watch Before You Buy series on YouTube, along with corresponding short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and other social media platforms when applicable. Additional video responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Recap Videos: 20- to 40-second highlight edits of our livestream breaks using trending sounds, captions, and pop culture references
• TikTok Trends: Short-form (10 to 30 seconds) original content based on current viral trends
• Behind-The-Scenes: 30- to 60-second behind-the-scenes looks into daily operations, production, and team activities
• Event Coverage: Recaps of in-store events, card shows (like The National), and sports/TCG conventions
• Additional Videos: Mail day recaps, staff interviews, memorabilia highlights, daily operations, and more

Some videos will require editing existing footage only, while most others will require you to independently plan, shoot, and edit original content, either appearing on camera yourself or collaborating with our team. You will be expected to proactively identify content opportunities, develop ideas, and execute them without constant direction. Speed, independence, and consistent production are paramount. Video assignments, production priorities, and content requirements are subject to change based on emerging trends, platform algorithm updates, and company needs. 

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of sports cards, collectibles, and pop culture
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) or similar tools
• Experience editing videos for social platforms (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
• Familiarity with social media trends, memes, and content algorithms
• Strong on-camera presence and comfort working with teams
• Ability to produce high-quality, engaging content under deadlines
• Basic understanding of video/audio equipment, such as cameras, streaming gear, and microphones
• Must provide a portfolio or examples of prior video/graphic work
