Corporate Governance Paralegal

An established financial lending services organization is seeking a 3 plus year Corporate Paralegal to support its in-house legal team and broader business operations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with legal counsel and executive leadership on contracts, litigation management, corporate governance, and legal and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal, administrative, and operational support to in-house counsel and executive leadership across multiple business functions.
• Maintain organized and accurate legal files, contracts, leases, litigation records, and corporate governance documents using document management systems.
• Review and revise contracts, leases, and related legal documents in accordance with established policies, procedures, and business requirements.
• Monitor litigation matters, maintain case records, track deadlines, and provide timely status updates to counsel and leadership.
• Assist with corporate governance, corporate housekeeping, and the preparation of corporate resolutions and other legal documentation.
• Maintain corporate minute books and organize company policies to ensure accurate recordkeeping and accessibility.
• Prepare correspondence related to escalated customer matters and legal or compliance concerns.

Qualifications

• 3 plus years of paralegal experience, preferably supporting in-house counsel or a corporate legal department.
• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution or ABA-approved program preferred.
• Experience with contracts, lease review, litigation management, corporate governance, legal operations, or regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with mortgage lending, banking, real estate, financial services, or loan servicing operations strongly preferred.
