About West Sea Kitchens

At West Sea Kitchens, we specialize in supplying kitchen cabinets and countertops for multifamily developments, renovations, turnovers, and residential projects. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Kitchen Designer / Project Coordinator who can take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Position Overview

The Kitchen Designer / Project Coordinator will manage the full kitchen process — from initial client communication and layout design through estimating, approvals, ordering, and delivery coordination.

This is not just a design role. The ideal candidate must be capable of handling both the creative and operational sides of kitchen projects while maintaining strong communication with clients, vendors, and internal team members.

The right person is proactive, organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple moving projects simultaneously.

  • Communicate with clients throughout the entire process
  • Obtain client approvals and finalize orders
  • Coordinate with overseas and domestic vendors
  • Place cabinet and countertop orders
  • Track production timelines and shipping schedules
  • Coordinate logistics and deliveries to job sites
  • Resolve project issues quickly and professionally

Client Communication

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients
  • Maintain professional communication via phone, email, and text
  • Keep clients updated on timelines, approvals, deliveries, and changes
  • Build long-term relationships through exceptional service

QualificationsPreferred Experience

  • Experience in kitchen cabinetry design
  • Experience using 2020 Design software or similar programs
  • Experience in cabinetry, construction, interior design, or kitchen sales
  • Experience managing projects from start to finish

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of kitchen layouts and cabinet construction
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and measurements
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, estimates, and invoicing

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate:

  • Thinks proactively and takes ownership of projects
  • Understands both design and operations
  • Can communicate confidently with clients, vendors, and contractors
  • Is comfortable balancing creativity with organization and execution
  • Can independently move projects forward without constant supervision

Compensation

  • Competitive salary based on experience ($60k-$80K)
