Interior Designer - Intermediate to Senior

Plush Design Studio is a residential interior design firm. Our projects range from furniture and decor to full remodels and new builds, and we take each one from initial concept through final installation.

Role Description

We’re hiring an Interior Designer for a position in the NY/NJ area, with a mix of on-site

client work and remote work. You’ll manage residential projects day to day, including:

• Meeting with clients in person and over video calls
• Selecting construction materials, furniture, and decor
• Measuring spaces and drawing room layouts
• Coordinating with our rendering team
• Creating mood boards and client presentations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in Interior Design
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and procurement
• Experience in designing residential spaces
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software
• Space planning and layout visualization skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• This role requires in-person travel to client sites across the NY/NJ area, so a valid driver's license and access to a reliable car are essential
