This is a customer-facing residential service role with the expectation that you’ll independently manage calls from diagnosis through completed work.

What you’ll do

·      Troubleshoot residential electrical problems and complete repairs, panel upgrades, EV charger installations, lighting, and other service work.

·      Explain your findings, identify appropriate solutions, and present options with upfront pricing so homeowners can make informed decisions.

·      Take ownership of each call, from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, with care for the customer’s home and confidence in your work.

·      Learn and follow our service process, using Housecall Pro and an established flat-rate pricebook to manage calls and quote work consistently.

You’ll have clear processes, good tools, and support as you learn our systems and build independence. We reward electricians who deliver excellent service, work productively, and consistently produce results. As the company grows, you’ll have opportunities to take on more responsibility.

Pay and benefits

·      $30–$50/hr based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses. Six-figure annual earnings are possible based on experience and performance; earnings are not guaranteed.

What you’ll bring

·      3+ years of residential field experience and strong troubleshooting skills

·      Clear communication with homeowners, including explaining the problem, options, and price without pressure

·      Organization, reliability, pride in your work, and a clean driving record

·      Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

A suburban or Chicago electrical license is a plus, but not required. Experience with EV charger installations, standby generators, or panel upgrades is also a plus.
