Role Description The Benefits Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Waycross, GA. This role is responsible for helping individuals and business clients understand and enroll in appropriate insurance and benefits products, ensuring accurate and timely benefits administration. Day-to-day activities include meeting with clients, presenting benefits options, answering questions, processing applications, and maintaining detailed records in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The Benefits Specialist will collaborate with agency leadership and team members to support client retention, provide ongoing service, and identify opportunities for additional coverage that meets client needs. The role also involves follow-up communication, problem resolution, and delivering a professional, service-oriented experience to all policyholders.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to explain complex benefits information and build trusting client relationships.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Waycross, GA, with reliable attendance and professional demeanor.
• Detail orientation and organizational skills for accurate documentation, data entry, and follow-up.
• Comfort with basic computer systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
• Prior experience in insurance, benefits, or financial services is preferred but not required.
