Our client is a mid-sized manufacturing corporation looking to hire a Senior Cost Accountant for their team. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance along with four years of cost accounting and analysis experience in the manufacturing industry. You will work with the Controller to provide detailed, accurate analysis and reporting around production and efficiency. This is a terrific opportunity to join a sizable, growing corporation and assist them as they continue to grow and develop. This is a full-time onsite position offering a salary of $110,000 to $150,000. They offer a comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, PTO, 401k match.

Responsibilities for the Accountant job include:

• Compile and analyze financial data related to production
• Assist in the monthly preparation of financial statements
• External audit preparation and support
• Cost analysis and reporting
• Involvement in ad hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Four or more years of cost accounting/analysis experience within a manufacturing environment is required
• Combination of accounting, cost analysis skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong technical aptitude, must know Pivot Tables, VLookups in Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
