About this opportunity
Tax Senior Associate
Long Island, NY
This is a larger small firm. Five partners. Twenty people. Big enough to be interesting. Small enough to feel human.
Busy season caps at 54 hours. Outside tax season it drops to 35.
Healthcare is fully covered.
Tax compliance and advisory alongside accounting reviews and audits.
Clients range from small family businesses to $25 million dollar multi owner groups.
Real estate and construction lead the way with exposure to legal medical and complex owner managed businesses.
People stay here because the culture is quietly brilliant.
Low turnover. Reasonable hours. A team that actually eats lunch together.
Summer picnic. Post tax season firm trip. Nice meals out after major deadlines.
It feels old school in the best possible way.
They are hiring a generalist Senior Tax Accountant. A broad position where you'll be preparing 1040s, 1120s, 1065s and quite a bit of accounting work too.
This suits someone with 4+ years in public accounting ideally from a mid sized firm who wants influence without burning out.
Here’s the part most people get wrong: you don’t need to tick every box to introduce yourself. The apply button is not legally binding. Worst case? We chat, decide the timing isn’t right, and you carry on. Best case? You bag yourself a fantastic new position.
