A highly respected Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its Commercial Real Estate Practice in Tampa and Miami. This position supports attorneys handling large-scale commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and development projects throughout Florida.

Responsibilities
The Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys throughout all phases of complex commercial real estate transactions. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing closing documents for purchase, sale, and financing transactions; assisting with loan documentation, including UCC Financing Statements; coordinating commercial and residential closings; maintaining transaction checklists; preparing and distributing signature packages; reviewing settlement statements; coordinating with lenders, title companies, borrowers, sellers, and other transaction parties; ordering and reviewing title commitments and surveys; preparing title and survey objection letters; drafting title and survey memoranda; managing due diligence processes; reviewing zoning reports; conducting lease reviews and preparing lease abstracts; managing filings and recordings; preparing closing binders; and handling post-closing matters.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of Real Estate Paralegal experience
- Must have experience working in a law firm environment
- Florida commercial real estate experience required
- Strong title and survey review experience
- Experience coordinating commercial real estate closings from contract through closing
- Experience reviewing due diligence materials, zoning reports, UCC searches, and entity documents
- Experience preparing and reviewing loan and financing documentation
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Stable employment history with demonstrated tenure in prior roles
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Tampa, FL
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale commercial real estate transactions
- Experience with real estate financing and lender-side transactions
- Experience preparing title objection letters and title/survey memoranda
- Experience reviewing and abstracting leases
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys within a team-based real estate practice
