Real Estate Litigation Associate

Lieser Skaff is seeking an experienced Real Estate Litigation Associate with 5+ years of experience to join our growing boutique litigation practice in Tampa.

This is an opportunity for an attorney who wants real ownership of their cases, meaningful client interaction, courtroom experience, and the ability to work alongside highly respected litigators. We are looking for someone who can independently manage matters, exercise sound judgment, and hit the ground running.

What You’ll Do

• Handle real estate and commercial litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Represent clients in landlord/tenant disputes, evictions, commercial lease disputes, property and ownership disputes, construction-related matters, and other real estate litigation.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and briefs
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research, develop case strategy, negotiate resolutions, and provide practical legal advice to clients.
• Manage deadlines, case files, and client communications.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of litigation experience, with meaningful experience in real estate litigation strongly preferred.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Comfortable appearing in court and interacting directly with clients.
• Comfortable appearing in court and interacting directly with clients.
• Self-directed, accountable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Clio and/or NetDocuments is a plus.
