Job Title: Technical Support II - AV Technician
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: Contract position
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot conference room AV systems and video conferencing equipment.
- Respond to ServiceNow video conferencing support requests.
- Conduct proactive conference room inspections to identify and prevent technical issues.
- Plan, set up, and provide technical support for live and hybrid events.
- Support high-visibility meetings involving senior leadership and external guests.
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly during live events.
- Communicate effectively with business partners regarding technical capabilities and limitations.
- Collaborate with AV Operations, Events, Network Operations, and Event Technology teams.
- Assist with broadcast studio productions and company-wide events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an AV Technician (required).
- Hands-on experience with Zoom Rooms (required).
- Experience with audio boards and AV switching equipment (required).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and customer services.
Team & Reporting Structure
You will report to the Manager of Videoconferencing and Event Support and collaborate with:
- AV Operations
- Events Teams
- Network Operations
- Event Technology Team, supporting broadcast studio and company-wide events
