VP of Programs – Hybrid | Denver, CO - Space Tech🛰️

We’re hiring for a VP of Programs with a fast-scaling space technology company supporting commercial and national security satellite missions.

This is a critical leadership role focused on building and leading the company’s execution engine -ensuring reliable delivery of mission-ready capabilities across complex government and commercial environments.

You’ll operate at a company-wide level, working closely with leadership to translate strategy into consistent, high-quality execution across engineering, product, and customer programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own execution across all customer programs spanning government and commercial missions
• Act as the executive accountable for program delivery, mission readiness, and deployment success
• Build and scale the program management and operational execution function
• Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and customer teams
• Establish scalable processes for mission onboarding, deployment, and delivery
• Develop operational reporting, dashboards, and execution tracking frameworks
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve delivery speed and reliability
• Serve as a senior interface with government and commercial stakeholders
• Partner with leadership to ensure operational readiness for growth and new programs

Key Requirements

• 10+ years leading programs, operations, or delivery in complex technical environments
• Strong experience supporting government, aerospace, or national security programs
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams delivering mission-critical systems
• Experience building operational processes in fast-growing or evolving organizations
• Strong stakeholder management experience, including government customers
• Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
