Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Construction – Asheville, NC | Full-Time | On-Site

Allegiance Group are partnering with an established general contractor who are looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team in Asheville, NC.

The company works across the Southeast, delivering commercial projects in healthcare, K-12 and higher education. They have a strong reputation for working closely with clients and delivering quality projects.

They also invest in technology, including Procore, VDC, laser scanning and drone surveys, giving their teams the tools to deliver projects efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years' commercial construction experience who wants to develop their skills and progress into a Project Manager role.

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience as an APM, Project Engineer or similar
• Healthcare, K-12 or higher education project experience is a plus
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Experience with Procore, MS Project or similar software
• Someone who is motivated, works well in a team and wants to progress

What you'll be doing:

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project delivery
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and meeting minutes
• Assist with subcontractor buyout and procurement
• Track project budgets, costs and schedules
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and site teams
• Maintain project documentation in Procore
• Support quality control, safety and project closeout
