ABOUT THE ROLE

The Property Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations for a regional retail portfolio totaling approximately 700,000 SF across 7-8 shopping center assets. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, financial performance and capital project execution throughout the portfolio. Working closely with ownership, leasing, accounting, vendors and tenants, you will play a key role in maximizing asset value and ensuring the properties continue to perform at a high level.

DUTIES

• Oversee daily operations across a multi-property retail portfolio

• Manage property budgets, forecasts and financial reporting

• Complete CAM reconciliations and monitor operating expenses

• Drive tenant relations and provide best-in-class customer service

• Oversee vendors, contracts and service providers across all assets

• Coordinate capital projects, repairs and property improvements

• Conduct regular property inspections and maintain asset standards

• Support leasing initiatives, tenant openings and space turnover

• Monitor NOI, expenses and portfolio performance metrics

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements

• Partner with accounting, leasing and asset management teams

• Build relationships with tenants, ownership and key stakeholders

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience managing retail shopping centers or commercial portfolios

• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting

• Experience with CAM reconciliations and lease administration

• Background managing multiple assets simultaneously

• Knowledge of vendor management, contracts and capital projects

• Proficiency with Yardi, MRI or related property management software

• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
