Director of Nursing – Medicare Home Health

My client is an established Medicare Home Health provider operating across South Florida.

Due to significant growth within their Broward branch, they are looking to recruit an experienced Director of Nursing to take responsibility for the clinical operations and lead the next stage of expansion.

• Strong focus on maintaining clinical quality while continuing to expand.

The role:

• Oversee the clinical operations of the Broward branch, ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, manage and support the Clinical Manager and Scheduler.
• Work closely with the Sales team to support business growth and ensure strong communication between clinical and sales departments.
• Ensure sufficient clinical staffing to support increasing patient census and business expansion.
• Maintain clinical standards, policies and procedures in line with Medicare requirements.
• Support survey preparation and ensure continued compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with field clinicians, encouraging retention and high-quality patient care.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Required competencies:

• Current RN licence in the state of Florida.
• Previous Medicare Home Health experience.
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing or Clinical Manager.
• Strong understanding of Medicare regulations and clinical compliance.
• Previous leadership and team management experience.
• Organised, motivated and comfortable working within a growing organisation.
• Understands the importance of working closely with the Sales team and supporting business development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Longevity and stability within previous positions.
• Kinnser/WellSky experience would be advantageous.
