QC Technician, 2D/3D optical inspection for aerospace, (temp to hire), Scripps Ranch, CA, 1st shift Mon - Friday, $25-$35/hour

Who you are:
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience within aerospace, precision machining, or manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience operating CMMs, optical comparators, and 2D/3D optical inspection equipment
- Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T requirements
- Proficient with precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills
- Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections of precision-machined aerospace components
- Operate CMMs, optical comparators, and 2D/3D optical measurement equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and product conformity
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with customer and aerospace quality requirements
- Document inspection results, identify nonconformances, and support corrective action activities
- Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve inspection issues and maintain quality standards
